Starts good, then gets progressively worse
Hours are all over the place. If you're willing to forgo personal self worth, you'll be fine. Just be willing to accept that nepotism is the strongest determination of your worth at this company

Good Starter Job
This was the first job I ever worked at and I loved it. It was very easy to get more hours, the pay out was fairly good considering I was a cashier, I wasn't forced to do jobs that weren't my own. The customers were the highlight of my experience. Oh but beware of the customers with coupons, they are nice up until they are not allowed to use one.

Fast Fun and Friendly
The Best part of Target is the Culture. Work day to day with great leaders and the BEST Team Members a Company could ask for. Execs focus on team and development.

Competitive and fast pace work environment.
Fun place to work and time goes by quick when it's busy. Team members are expected to pick up after others when staffing is low. Team work is stressed but rarely practiced. Hours are spread thin and are rarely given constantly for a full time position.
ProsFlexible schedule
ConsLow wages

Fast paced work. Fewer team members lately.
Target has been a Good empoyer to me for 12 years. You will never do just one job at Target. There are far to few employees and the workload is just getting bigger. On any given day I can fulfill online orders, run a register guest service, along with getting carts and my normal job of working in the open market area.
ProsCan work with management about persobal issues.
ConsAlot of work, fewer employees

Good job, great people
Honestly i would continue to work at target if it wasn’t just such a mentally draining job. The coworkers are fantastic for the most part, there are a few bad ones and everyone will tell you who they are. The management is always willing to work with you as long as you’re a good worker if you’re not they don’t care about you at all. The worst part of the job is the Karen’s, there is way too many of them and you wanna throw yourself off a bridge by the end of every shift
ProsFree snacks, motivational games with prizes
ConsKaren’s

How Unorganized And Unprofessional They Act.
Managers be so worried about if everybody else doing they job they can’t focus on doing they own job ! Then you also have some people in there who just are so mean and rude to you and ones that act racist ! Being a team member for target really opened my eyes I was so disappointed in how they talked about team work and helping one another but wasn’t doing that all. Especially mangers. I also hate how they don’t even train you they just let you figure it out all on your own. Even down to the way they told me they weren’t moving forward with my seasonal application, they didn’t approach me, I had to approach them to figure out why I didn’t have any hours for that week coming up l just don’t respect how target handles their situations. I personally feel like they could be more professional and respectful especially in this pandemic we’re in right now.
ProsSome people work with you and make you feel comfortable
ConsSome people be out to get rid of you even though you’re doing your job!

I was only a seasonal employee.
I worked at Target for a short time, during the Christmas season of my senior year. This was a hectic rime for shoppers and employees and I loved the atmosphere.

Target
Target was a really fun place to work. Hands on training and friendly customers. But management could of been better with more communication. People should be held accountable for not doing their jod. Team leaders should led by example.
