Estresante pero bueno hay crecimiento y trabajo en equipo

Flexible hours, but almost no benefits and no compensation if job is lost.
Job is mostly remote or in a location in downtown Chicago, IL. Occasional meetings at headquarters in Hoffman Estates (once or twice a month).
Learned programming, both server-side and client-side, launched many internal web applications. Learned management of support teams and use of many software applications such as Adobe Suite, MS Office, JIRA, LDAP database queries, HTML, JavaScript, Perl, etc.
Workplace culture is very vertical, you communicate mostly along your line of supervisors and employees but only top management communicate across departments for the most part. (There is internal social networking, but not for actionables.)
Hardest part of the job was handling emergencies related to learning software and applications, but it was also the most enjoyable since you saw results almost immediately and you get to work the most with other developer teams and HR and system managers during those situations.

No raises
N/a nothing to tell cared less on workers no raises. Always looked at the bad things you do and not for the good things you do. Working hard and not getting any credit

They have an employee of the month, to recognize job well done.
Sears use to send there repairmen to school for training on there appliances. Sears stopped that and had on the job training for a
week or two then send you on your way. Sears has specialists now
that are only trained on 1 or 2 appliances. The starting pay for mechanics
at Sears is $12 to $13. Seasoned mechanics with over 20 yrs experience
is rare at Sears because they do not want to pay mechanics wages nor
overtime pay anymore.
ProsYou receive the knowledge on repairing appliances.
ConsSears no longer pays a mechanic what he is worth.

Productive and fun with polite co-workers
Sears was very fun to work with when you have nice co-workers to be around helping you put clothes back where they go and help clean up the area. If things got stressful others would come and help you with whatever you are doing.

Good environment and helpful co-workers
Working with Sears has been enjoyable, though frustrating at times. It was enjoyable to learn how to refurbish ratchets, and assemble tool boxes and exercise equipment, but sometimes was too understaffed to handle getting larger merchandise to customers.

Job was fun. Good group of people. No real opportunity for advancement but flexible hours for people that have sporadic schedules. Managers were very nice and helpful as well.

Sears was a good job
Customer's were number one focus for me to make sure they could find what they need or help find it. As they would tell me you have great standard's when it came to organized . And take on responsibility to get tasks done in a timely manner and with care. And to go above and beyond to follow through to get what they wanted or answers to the fact.

Good advancement
Great place to work at I had a
Chance to advance. I started out as a basic mca then I got to level up to sales associate. Finally I made it to mattress sales and that was a huge upgrade
