The interview was comfortable and encouraging
Worked for the digital isle over the Christmas rush.
Many of the department managers and coworkers were helpful but
the training for the position was not very organized.

I enjoyed most being able to walk around and help/ talk to customers one on one and help them find what they were looking for. I learned a lot about the store and stock. It was the only job that I was given the chance to learn register and work around the store.

Amazing company but with a terrible management
I would love to still be with the company but the stress from the store manager has ran off so many employees. There are 2 left from the opening day 2 Year’s ago of about 150 employees

get to work with planes
load and unload planes, wave them in to terminal, push them out to depart. de-ice in icy or snow conditions. lots of down time between planes.

Frustrating job
The trucks aren't usually loaded right when they are received. Heavy products on top of unsteady lighter stock. Complaints to managers does no good. The live plants inside aren't usually watered. The live animals aren't maintained properly. Not watered enough. When they get pasty butt their bottoms aren't washed. So they die. Most managers don't know their departments well enough. What they don't feel like doing during the day and evening hours is left for the over night crew to do.

Comfortable work environment
Overall it's not a bad place to work it's a fun high paced environment with great employees management is fine at a local level but terrible at a corporate level which trickles down to local management and employees causing for confusion or a change of plans sometimes numerous times thru out your work day

Wonderful company, however the Store Manager is terrible.
I enjoyed working at Rural King in Knoxville, with the exception of the Store Manager. There is no way to make him happy. In the past year and two months there have been over 150 people quit. The Store Manager doesn't take care of his employees. Assistant Managers are required to work 10 hours every day five days a week. The problem with that is the Managers are required to do the schedules after hours. I would come home and work on the schedule for hours, only to come back in the next day and find that the Store Manager had changed it again!

Productive place
Some days are stressful and some days are good. Learned to work hard. Management is fair. Workplace culture is diverse. Hardest part of the job getting everything done. Do what you can do. Most enjoyable part is knowing you provided good customer service and worked hard.
