one good thing was working remote at home.
Job started well as an inside sales licensed rep. However after getting in. I started noticing lot of micro management. Job shadowing, call listening, and one on one every week. and then every month. It seems more of a call center gig than a real inside sales job. Manager left and then some tequilla dude took over and then started with me not even a month after new dude took over. For seven months i was doing great, then all of a sudden, i was doing horrible just like that i went from doing great to overnight not doing great. This jobs is more judge based and they treat you like a body to take calls all day and then to top that off they want to stress you out by having one on one every week, job shadowing, call listening and more of a harassments gig that a real professional job. this is not a professional job and more of a call center job. There was nothing fun about this job or not incentive or anything besides just feeling like a body that needs to answer phone for 40 hours plus the sad micro management. save your health and think twice about this job. if you like micro management then you will feel at home at this gig.
Proswork at home
Consmicro management. you will feel like a splash on a wall for sure.

You Are Just a Number
My experience is that this company does not value their agents. They are overworked and underpaid. There is no real work/life balance. You can request time off, but your job does not stop. You can either give away what little money you make to cover while you are on leave/vacation or you can take calls the entire time you are supposed to be off. The brokers I worked with knew nothing about being a broker. They were more interested in holding nonsense meetings. Absolutely no value was provided in these meetings. You are replaceable at any moment.
ProsYou can work from home

I would try something else
This is not a great place to work. It's a real estate company trying to be a tech company but they have not figured out where they fit in the industry or how to get there. They change directions very often and it's hard to understand what or who drives the change. Because they think they are a tech company the people as in Real Estate clients and many of their agents are trampled or missed or left behine.

Best work life balance, best benefits, best company
I have never worked in a more supportive, kind, encouraging environment. For a large company, they treat each employee like they are important, cared for, valued and trusted. CEO always says that above all, family comes first. He speaks it, management follows through. The company cares about the employees, provides amazing benefits at a super low cost, encourages you to be a present, active, low-stress parent/spouse/person. Opportunity for growth and change is all over. The people are REAL, enthusiastic, helpful, and encouraging. Management legitimately wants you to do well. PTO is always approved. Flexibility is a way of life. The culture is the best I have ever experienced. As a salaried employee, the base salary is fair. The bonus is not capped. The benefits are amazing and cost next to nothing. They never throw you under the bus. If you make a mistake, they explain what you could do to not make it again, explains why it happened, and forgive you immediately. It’s a true team environment. This is by far the best company I have ever worked for. You feel like you’re working with family. You believe in the mission and WANT to do your part. Company meetings are so much fun, engaging and real. Glenn (CEO) is the kindest, most respectful, most amazing person. He genuinely cares, and openly encouraged all employees - even down to entry level positions- to email and call him as needed. Even just for support if you’re feeling down during the pandemic. The company provided each empl

Is there kind of training provided to prepare new Associate Agents for their positions, i.e. showing home giving tours and communicating with potential clients?
Asked Mar 1, 2017
Yes but it's all video training. It takes a few weeks to fall into your own groove. Be humble, don't overstep and you'll be fine.
Answered Apr 5, 2019
Yes. You will shadow lead agents or other experienced AA’s.

What benefits does Redfin offer?
Asked Jun 28, 2016
Now that the agent's goals are set quarterly you can no longer actually take a vacation or sick leave. You do get vacation but if you take it you may not make your sales volume for the quarter and if you miss one quarter you are on your way out the door. You can also take sick leave but you still have to make your numbers. Numbers, numbers, numbers. Be prepared to be a robot.
Answered Jul 25, 2021
Great benefits. Medical, Dental, Vision - fulltimers accrue vacation and sick pay.

How much do Associate Agent's make?
Asked Jan 27, 2017
Typically pay is about $200 per week for AA. Unless you leave your calendar wide open, work 7 days a week and will go anywhere will you make about $500 and above a week.
Answered Jun 23, 2021
AA's pay depends multiple factors including (but not limited to): - how much you work (the more you work, the more you make), - the market that you're in (fast paced markets have more business which will mean more appointments) - how large the region is that you're in (if the metropolitan area you work in is more spread out, you may end up driving farther between appointments which means you have less availability for appointments due to drive time), - the time of day that you take appointments (they pay more for peak hour appointments (evenings & weekends) because that is when more people have time off from work to tour homes, AA's are paid per event as the previous person mentioned. The amount for a single peak hour tour ($60) doesn't seem like much, but when you consider the time involved, it quickly adds up. For example, a single home tour in my area during peak time may take me 45-60 minutes including drive time. Let's say you do 3 of these one evening, and you've made $180. During the busier months (in a busy market), you can easily make $150-200+ per weekday and $750+ per weekend. So I'd say consistently $1250 - $1500 or more per week - and this is with the ability to have some flexibility in your schedule. If I were to keep my calendar more open during the busy months, it's not unusual for me to make $1500 - $1750+ weekly. During the colder months (Nov - Jan) it slows down a bit, so I'd say it's more like $600 - $1000 per week. If you keep your calendar open more during any point, more could be made. It really just depends on how much you work.
