Great place to work
Providence Health is great place to work. The leadership follows its mission in word and deed. Quality patient care is paramount and part of its culture of service.

We did our best to keep with the core values.
I enjoyed coming to work knowing that whatever the change, or new things that we were going to do, we would do our best to make sure we could line up what we were doing with the core values.
Loved working with my co-workers, and doing our best to be the best at whatever we were asked to do. Helping each other when needing to make our deadlines. Sharing new improves that could be made.

Wonderful place to work!
The organizations mission is very strong and community centered.
Leadership does well to manage the constant growth of the organization while keeping the employees in mind.

I fine place to work
It culture and team atmosphere is comfortable. However, the management and constant reorganization makes things hard to move up. There are a few fleeting opportunities to move up...but it becomes a who knows who club and acquisitions bring in different groups to your management. You have to reprove your value and talents to new uppers before you can promote even within your own pillar, not even into management.

Awesome Organization
Worked there for about 19 months and it was awesome. I was presented with another great opportunity and left, not a day goes by that I regret that. You will love working here if you get the opportunity.

Good coworkers
Healthcare is changing with each government same as the technology and Providence is really moving fast pace to catch up with the rest of the world.
The top management has a vision, but it will take some time to integrate for the entire enterprise.

Philanthropic organization
Company placed employees first but money was always tight and salary was not comparable to other health organizations. Benefits are good, but they do not provide paid holidays. Instead, you are expected to use PTO if you want to get paid for the day off
ProsThey provided free lunches monthly
ConsSome providers are indifferent but that's with any medical office

Enjoyed the people I worked with on a everyday basis.
Management Team Micro-Manage. I enjoyed the people I worked with on a everyday basis. Hardest part of job was the multiply floors that needed to be covered, was always out and about covering multiply floors so we had to depend on the nurses to communicate with us by phone which was not always done.

Health Care Industry is very behind the times in terms of processes, compensation, career advancement.
The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing that you are a part of the larger picture in helping ease the way for patients at the ministry level. That in itself helps support the mission of Providence.

Good Work/Life Balance
If you have a family and a busy life outside or work, this is a good company for you. The pay is not great, but if you can manage with the salary, it is still worth it.
