Best working years of my life
Had the most amazing experience working at sea. Princess cruise is the best. You have work colleagues who are friends that become family. Managers that support you 100%.

Stays true to Core Values
Princess Prides itself on being innovative. I was able to work remotely for over 10 years - well before other companies gave the option. When the industry was hit hard by the Covid pandemic, there was a need to lay off thousands of employees. I was one of the many, and I do not believe there was any discretion given to those who would be laid off and those who were not. I felt appreciated while working there, but apparently not enough to keep me on board.
ProsMany jobs can be done remotely
ConsNo employee appreciation when the bottom line was affected

Hard working and fun in the same time
Princess Cruises line is a very good company to work for. The working hours are long and vey long especially in a sea day , but to have the opportunity to go out and visit the places is the most rewarding felling at the end of the day and at the end of the contract. I've work for cruise line industry for 14 years and I'm very honored to say that I've seen the world , even Antarctica.
Prosfree accomodation, free food, free entertaiment for crew.
Consshort breaks, not accomodating married couples, having ti share a canbin with a stranger

Wonderful work place
Busy, exciting workplace. Great team spirit in all departments and everyone takes pride in what they do.
As an Art Consultant and Customer Service Rep I work with customers that typically purchased thousands of dollars of art on the ships at auction. I love assisting them with their purchases and in general giving them the kind of support they expect throughout the whole process. I enjoy working in this type of atmosphere where I'm in constant contact with customers.
I worked here for almost 10 years and had no intention of ever leaving this job. However, GFA, a division of Princess was acquired by another company and the new company is not retaining any of the previous GFA employees. My last day is January 17th.
ProsGreat benefits, health ins., company support in all areas

Great benefits and perks and opportunity to work within different departments. Sometimes hard to get through to management although they seem to be working on it!

Crew area with wi-fi, gym, swimming pools, crewshop, bar.
Had to meet 15 min before opening, reviewed daily targets and got motivated to do our best. Learned how to be flexible and adjust to different people.Managers have different ways to lead, so follow, respect and keep them happy.Team work very important, can make or break your contract. Starting over again with new team. New challenges never makes it boring, saying goodbye is most difficult part!
ProsTravelled the world, met great people, experienced different cultures
ConsMoney comes first, no excuses if targets were not met
