Great training oportunity
They love to promote from within creating great training opportunities. Usually fast promotions. Very aggressive customer service. Very energetic and usually a happy place, however it can get negative from time to time.

No a bad job if you want to go no where and make no money. Benefit they keep just under the max so they dont have to pay you. Never enough staff, and management who can care less about the workers. If you have tough skin and can work without management support this is the job for you.

Great place to work, friendly staff and very great atmosphere
I have learned so much working here, at Price chopper over the last 4 and a half years, I became a supervisor after only 11 months and I also work in General Merchandise now and Pharmacy from time to time.

Understanding managers that work with employees
I really enjoyed working with Price Chopper Supermarkets. The management was very understanding and worked with their employees in regards to scheduling during school or appointments. While working at Price Chopper is gained a lot of customer service experience as well as cash handling experience. I learned ways to efficiently communicate to customers to resolve any issues or concerns. I quickly learned processes needed to perform the job. I was not satisfied with the ability to become full time and gain full time benefits including a higher compensation. Over all, I enjoyed working for Price Chopper.

Typically stressful, lots of multitasking.
I learned how to communicate with people from every walk of life.
The hardest part was the constant pressure from management, and environment in general.
ProsMade some great friends, loved the loyal customers.

I enjoyed working at Price Chopper. My Coworker's in the Office were Nice and I Loved the Customer's that is what I went to work for.

very stressful
very stressful & busy. support staff recently decreased & worked many hours alone which I did not particularly care for. It was nice closing the gate on pharmacy for lunch

People i worked with were awesome
I worked there for almost 13 years i enjoyed it for the most part.
A typical day consisted of coming in to empty shelves so id have to stock 2 pallets of load a day plus manage the department .
The management didn't communicate well and unless you were on there favorites list they treated you badly and talked down to you they weren't professional at all.
The majority of co-workers were great to work with everybody would work with each other .
Hardest part of the job dealing with difficult customers and training new employees
the thing i enjoyed the most was i always busy
