Like the ability to see where our group always placed
Not clear on how 40 hours per week should be accomplished - would prefer to work same hours each day instead of evening and weekend work. Need a good schedule to accommodate day care hours
ProsIs nice to get a free lunch or recognition party
ConsNeed a little better way to take breaks, i.e., after an especially difficult customers

All about numbers.
No constructive feedback with a plan on how to improve. Just write ups and get fired. I was let go because they claimed I was on voicemails too long but they would NEVER let me hear the recording. Just ridiculous.

Good to start but not to stay
The managers act like children, the company doesnt treat you as an individual, they steal your bonuses and claim to take it when you mess up calls which is falsified, and everyone has to kiss booty in order to ascend higher up.

Overall fun place to wrok with management that motivated productivity.
A typical work day would be to either sit on the automated dialing system waiting for some one to answer. There was also a click to dial system which gave you time to work your work lists. Follow up calls on mail in accounts to remind debtor of his payment being due. Doing follow up calls on promise to pay accounts to secure bank account information. I learned the collections business. The hardset part of the job was sitting for so long. The most enjoyable part of the job was the atmosphere.
ProsI very much loved everything about this job.
ConsSitting for so long

Decent Pay, Awful Management
I was employed at PRA for a little over one year. In that time I experienced a culture that is fundamentally broken. The various teams and divisions all defend their perceived "turf". There's very little in the way of effective collaboration. The management, when they showed interest in the business processes, it only seemed to be in obstructing them in the name of compliance. The best thing that can be said about the place is they do look out for your mental well-being and work/life balance is clearly a priorities of theirs.

ondersteunende fuctie

Questions And Answers about PRA Group

If you were in charge, what would you do to make PRA Group a better place to work?
Asked Jan 26, 2018
Have a better bonus plan in place. Bonuses used to be great over $1k a month on average, now not so great. We have deciles 1-10 company wide so you have to be in deciles 1 or 2 to make the best bonuses. Make sure employees know of changes before they are made.

When it comes to bonuses in the company itself, are they decently good? Does anyone have an estimate?
Asked Sep 30, 2016
The average monthly bonus for an average collector would be $400-$700 monthly in core. For a top collector its average is 700+ monthly. My biggest monthly bonus payout was $3100 for collecting 72k and I've been with company almost 3 years and collect an average of 50k monthly for the company.
Answered Sep 6, 2020
If youre in legal and collect $25,000 probably $400 which will be overly taxed and youll get $150. in core if you get $25,000 thats probably $1000. Not fair right? lol
