It’s been an eye opener, During covid and still now many rest rooms closed, Meet some very nice people, very appreciative of my work, there’s certain places I don’t like to go because our internet directions get scrambled. note: going through hills, take pic of your directions and destiny and go backwards to get out.
ProsI didn’t know I like driving so much.
Consinternet doesn’t always work, make sure customer gets you out the gate not just in 😒
This job pays good, and you make your own hours. The work is consistent and customer service is always on hand when needed. Only downfall is, once you stop working for them. You can never work for them again, no matter what the situation was.
Postmates is a wonderful company to work for. I have the flexibility to work my own hours, and the pay is far. I have learned to manage my time, and coordinate delivers so that my customers receive their orders in timely manner.
I enjoy the Postmates platform because it's basically allows me to make some money anytime of the day or anytime of the day where there's money to be made and they don't make too many demands on me you're on a bunch of curveball stipulations it's straightforward
ProsNo stress you're Your Own Boss as long as you do what you have to do
ConsI have none

Postmates...A hot mess
Postmates ranks a the bottom of current delivery services and has garnered a reputation to be anything but proud of, according to a majority of complaints posted online. Instead of boasting about how fast the company is growing and appearing successful in news releases and interviews with Bloomberg and other news organizations, the CEO and his management team have no clue on how to run a company like Postmates
A remote team of customer service representatives was hired in 2015, and instead of realizing the value of those telecommuters with years of professional customer service, marketing and sales experience, Postmates chose to lie to them, to threaten to fire them if they didn't follow the rules (what rules - they changed from week-to-week and were ineffective in creating a win win situation for anyone), everything was chaotic and continued until the remote team was disbanded on February 5, 2017.
The couriers were constantly leaving orders at restaurants that customers would never receive, merchant were continually complaining and refusing to take any future Postmates orders, P.F. Chang in California had a restraining order against Postmates to cease and desist placing any orders throughout the state, the CEO squandered investor funds in the wrong areas, and the entire operation from its startup through now is a HOT MESS and hopefully a corporation who knows how to scale and run a business will put Postmates out of its misery and adopt it, kick the CEO to the curb

Its food delivery
It's an easy job....just pick up customer food and deliver it to them. I enjoy getting what the customer wants to them quickly. I like it when they tip me.
Postmates was a great place to work. However it’s no longer a thing anymore they’ve been bought over by Uber Eats. So it’s now called Uber Eats and Postmates is no longer a company.
They are kind enough to let you work around the clock just about at any given time. Some weeks they have bonuses which really makes the job worth it.!

Convenient and quick way to make some small cash
The best part about Postmates would be how quickly you can start earning money. Once you get approved through background checks and receive your card and bag you can start. Customers were typically friendly and gave great tips as long as you did your job well. Sometimes finding someone to deliver to was difficult due to distance, but depending on the time of day you can work around that. The app was also easy to use and the only small stress was making sure you got everything the customer ordered.
