PMP are the worst agency in the business
PMP are by far THE worst agency in business. Staff ignore requests for contact. Staff are ignorant and grumpy when spoken too. Staff can't answer the simplest of questions and truly don't care about the workforce. PMP truly are the worst agency by far. DON'T work for PMP. !!!!

Avoid unless you absolutely can't
I started working in memory lane cakes and I was told I would work 4 days on 4 days off with 12 hours shifts. Thing is every week at least half of my shifts were cancelled and the ones I was getting were never 12h. There is no rota, you just get a text the day before (they have until 5pm) whether you will get to work or not so you can't even sort yourself anything else. You don't even know how long your shift is until you show up so you could come there and learn you only work 4h! They said it was because they get less orders because of the pandemic but they must have known that before and they still claim you will work for 48h a week so they just straight up lie to you
ProsMoney always on time
ConsLie about hours, unhelpful and rude staff, never answer the phone

Avoid at all costs
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Go through Addecco for Amazon as they offer a more proffessional service then PMP. got told a few weeks ago i had progressed to the next stage and needed to sign in to cordant to upload relavant documents and finish some personal details. for some reason i couldnt access the account.. i have emailed both PMP and Cordant direct over 5 times each with no reply. this was over 3 weeks ago. i have also rang daily with no luck. today i recieved a email from them sayin they have withdrew my application because they have tried to contact me!! Which is A BLATANT LIE and now i have lost the position. So due to the rubbish service from PMP and Cordant i have lost my position. i have never dealt with such inproffessional people before. Clearly PMP dont care for there employees and there only aim is there own gain and profits.. PLZ steer well clear of this agency they are NOT proffessional and DO NOT care for there employees/potentiol employees. JOKE OF A AGENCY

Bad management
Treated terrible by management. They don't care about their staff. As agencies go, avoid like the plague. Management are just thinking of numbers and not their staff who have got families.
ProsNone
ConsLay you off at the drop of a hat.

Awful ruthless company do not work for them!!!
Worked for this company (sub contracted to Amazon (!!) for 3 months gave 100% never missed a long 10 hour shift, given no clear instructions about my employment. Due to the UNBELIEVABLE stress at Amazon was signed off sick by Drs for 2 weeks. On day 1 of my sick leave PMP terminated my contract (even though legally they are required to pay SSP) and said I was of 'no use to them'! 6 weeks later with work I have NOT received my final salary or my holiday pay. They do not return calls, emails or even answer the telephone. I had to travel into Manchester to be forced to sign a termination agreement against my will. Still chasing for my pay and holiday owed!!! I ADVISE YOU, DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE!

Friendly and supportive workplace
There isn't really a typical day in this job which is why I like it so much!! From reception duties, to one to one discussions with candidates, to updating systems ..... never a dull moment in this job ! I started this temporary position as a novice in recruitment. I have gained a whole new skillset, dealing with the public, becoming proficient in the use of HR related databases, working in a fast paced environment. All of which will stand me in good stead for future job applications. The team is exactly that ..... a team, everyone helps out to get the job done as and when required. The hardest thing is probably the need to work late at short notice but that was explained to me before I accepted the job. But working with such a close knit supportive and helpful team makes up for that.
Prosnever a dull moment

Great Salary, Good managment
The people at PMP Recruitment were very helpful and supportive and the salary for even a temp is great. The work was pretty repetitive so was easy to pick up and there was always on-site leadership or management walking around ready to help. More time needs to be taken to explain to the temp workers what they can and cannot do regarding time off and holidays.

Good learning curve
Can get quite busy at times, but the work culture is good. There's a way to solve every problem. There are opportunities to grow and develop, if you're willing to invest your time.

Overworked, Underpaid
on your feet for twelve hours, while your getting pushed and shouted at by managers and supervisors to go full on for the whole 12 hours. only had two half hour break which felt like ten mins due to walking to the canteen, walking back to work, waiting to use microwave to heat up your food, by the time you start eating you probably have five mins left of break. not alot of people there speak English so wasnt really any culture, for the most wasnt even aloud to speak until break time. always getting sent home or shift cancelled due to low volume of work.

Ok place to work
Warehouse work is always demanding, requires manual labour and excess hours standing on your toes. Besides this, was a good place to work at because everybody lifted one another up

Worse agency i have dealt with
Well what can i say apart from if you get invited to a induction at the Halifax branch at nestle. Unless you lie on your induction form and dont be honest you wont hear from them again. if you phone them to ask whats going on you WILL BE FOBBED OFF. Emailed head office in Northampton they were just as bad.... BE WARNED IF YOUR FACE DOSENT FIT YOU WONT GET ANYTHING OR HEAR ANYTHING..... IN short AVOID AT ALL COST.

Questions And Answers about PMP Recruitment

What advice would you give the CEO of PMP Recruitment about how to improve it?
Asked Mar 27, 2017
Hire dedicated people (like myself), empathetic and fair, people who follow rules specifically for onsite teams. Was amazed by the attitude of some onsite supervisors despite the perfect conditions that you're offering. Am coming from "the competition"... where I had almost nothing but had to provide upper lines with everything on a daily basis. Gathered experience, the only gain. So, strong and real people who appreciate the job not getting a general air of superiority reflected in their attitude towards almost any request from the temps etc.
