Company culture focused on safety and respect. The team consisted of great members and there was an awesome compensation for work. For those looking to have a great balance for family or other activities, I think Plastic Omnium is a great workplace.

Ok place to work
Fast paced environment. Good safety practices and approach. However production is priority. Clean plant. Hardest part is lot of work. WOrkplace culture is ok.

Good for someone fresh into the workplace
New production manager doesn't care so much for the employees, or our wellbeing. Most of management only cares about how many tanks are produced not taking into account the strain of their employees. The pay is good, with yearly raises, for how simple the work is, although there is little room for any advancement. If you're looking for a career, this isn't necessarily the place but if you've been out of work for a while, or are just entering the workforce this is a good place to start. A lot of management thinks highly of themselves and enjoy treating the workers like they're simple minded even though there's plenty of intelligent individuals working there, but they're overall laid back so long as you do your job. Plenty of OT is available based on how many lines you've learned, or positions you're trained for (waterspider, hi-lo, etc.) The one setback with that is you are sometimes forced to work 12 hour shifts, up to 84 hours a week. It is a union shop, and they really do have your back so that's nice. If you're on the line you get two 15 minute breaks and a 20 minute lunch that are paid. Very repetitive work. Same thing everyday. You're on your feet all night, so make sure to wear lightweight steel toed shoes.

Compensation and benefits are good but money isn’t everything. As far as job security, don’t get your hopes up. It’s a bit of a revolving door, especially for the project launch staff

Can be a really great place to work.
Like most places it all depends on what your job duties are and who your boss is. When I started there I had a great boss/manager that I reported to and I really enjoyed my job there. After he was pulled to another department we got the worst manager I have ever worked with. After trying to work with him for 2 years myself and 3 other people in our department either left the company or transferred to the new plant. Pay and benefits were the best I have ever had. It's a shame when bad management runs off good talent.

I’m a easy going person. I enjoy working out playing sports. I like to help people. I’m a fast learne, I get things done on time, I’ve gained a lot of experience working in plants.

Greenfield plant with many start up challenges.
Long hours and hard work starting up the plant while launching a new product. Diverse work force with a lot of different experiences. Life work balance was tough.

Stage très agréable avec une bonne ambiance de vie, divers projet d'innovation très intéressant. Il y avait un bon équilibre entre les réunions et le reste. Il y avait toujours quelque chose à faire. Les salaires sont corrects et une bonne réputation concernant l'égalité homme femme.

Monotonía y buen sueldo
El trabajo consiste en realizar durante 8 horas la pieza del coche para la que te hayan formado.
Aprendí a mirar por mí mismo y a realizar mi trabajo sin molestarme en cómo lo hacen los demás.
La parte más difícil del trabajo es soportar la monotonía y la incertidumbre (empresa trabajo temporal).
Lo que más me gustó es el sueldo. Era una ETT y pese a no tener asegurado el trabajo del día siguiente, se puede hacer dinero en poco tiempo.
