Great Company to work for
I started as a dish washer and grew with the company learning every station. I love what I did. Great team work between management and the employees. Lots of room to advance and grow with the company.

Still love the place
I learned valuable lessons at P.f. They love to advance and take of people when they are doing well. But you definitely have to work very hard to get there. But, once you are there. Life is a breeze. Overall it was an amazing place to work. Just don't them low ball you. Which they will do. Get paid for what you are worth.
ProsFree food/ and if you like it Travel but, .
Consduring my time no reimbursement for travel/

No loyalty no security
Loyalty means nothing for this corporation. I was ther for almost 7 years, and it didnt matter in the end. I wouldnt recommend this company for anyone looking to have a stable and consistent job that doesn't change every three months.

Great Restuarnt and amazing food.
I already have previous work experience as a Bartender at a Fast-Paced, two story restaurant, P.F. Changs China Bistro at the Planet Hollywood. This is the largest and also the flag ship restaurant due to its size and location in the center of the Strip. I worked at both of their bars to provide drinks and food for my bar guests, while also fulfilling ticketed drink requests for other servers and tables. I have also assisted bartending when there were some buy-outs or large catering events like large banquet style events. Additionally there was VIP or large private dining rooms tables for parties ranging from 20- 30 people. As a Bartender I maintained a dedication and focus on customer service and efficient attention to details at this high volume restaurant.

Was good til it wasn’t Poor management
The management really makes or breaks the overall experience. The first few months were a breeze, I had a good time at work, loved my manager’s and coworkers, didn’t mind the overtime. They suddenly started transferring managers from other stores, those managers were rude, lazy and wrote everyone up for the smallest stuff. Stopped working there because the hours started to become scarce and I called in sick (with a doctors note) and they put me on an unnecessary leave of absence and required a work release to have me back on the schedule. They NEVER once asked me if that’s what I needed. New managers were snakes in women’s clothes.

Great place until went publib
PF Changs was a great company until it went public and tried to be everything to everyone, rather than just keeping to its roots. Lunch bowls were the downfall of quality.

When you first start in the company it’s exciting but the longer you stay you’ll see more and more managers leave. It’s a corporation and like most corporations at the end of the day they just care about their numbers. I’ve helped open several P.F. Chang’s and they make it seem and treat you like family but that’s only at first cuz they just really care about is hitting their numbers. To them you’re always replaceable.
ProsThe food is great
