Not bad
Upper management has a history of hiring young and inexpensive kids to runs things. No real-world experience at being responsible for or accountable for results.

Package handler
Did not enjoy my time here. Was a package Handler but everything was unorganized and overwhelming. Work hours were unfair and did not make sense. Was paid unfairly for the amount of work haul I was in charge of doing.

Worst job I have ever had
I was convinced if I bought a van I would make 5000 a month, after expenses you make more like 2000 a month. Very unorganized, poorly managed, lacks structure and training. Typical work day starts at 11 unloading packages off truck and sorting/loading/mapping out your own route, oftentimes I would not make my first delivery until 2-3 pm and then deliver until anywhere from 6-11 pm. End times varied daily so it was hard to get used to any consistent schedule. Workplace culture wasn’t bad but there was never any perks or benefits of the job, just straight contract work...base pay per day plus a small amount per stop so income varied every pay period. And they expect weekend and holidays without any overtime or increased pay
ProsFreedom to take a break when you wanted
ConsNot a regular schedule (11-8), no benefits, awful management, no room for growth

Productive and fun workplace with many amenities
At OnTrac, you are continuously busy with answering and resolving customer issues. You get to watch packages from start to finish while also being able to monitor packages to ensure labels are correct and damaged packages are not being delivered.

OnTrac is a great place to work if you have an entrepreneurial type of mind-set. The pay is not that great, but there is opportunity for growth. Questions And Answers about OnTrac

If you were in charge, what would you do to make OnTrac a better place to work?
Asked Feb 4, 2017
I wouldn't push people too hard, there were cases of heat exhaustion, and they put them back to work.
Answered Nov 5, 2020
As a driver and fellow employee I would want to make the company look and follow the same requirements and professionalism the big names have to abide by matching pay benefits perks retirement services equipment provided safety equipment proper uniform and gadgets for scanning boxes roadside assistance pretty much direct line to supervisors and customers daily log hired helpers for. Bigger loads and package sizes have company set organized placements for packages have a group of elite drivers who keep the drivers informerd and trained in all parts of the job have a same fleet of vehicles for everyone equipped with everything proper logos and info letting passing drivers law enforcement and customers informed that its a professional company Have better communication skills with neighbors so they feel comfortable and not worried when we work our routes make sure drivers all have prior jobs where they used a map or have experienced god knowledge and are familiar with the laws and have no prior driving violations for speeding dui also have mandatory Paid breaks throughout there shift for 15 min of rest off the road so they don’t risk falling asleep behind the wheel
