Good place to get started
alot of resources and a great place to get your feet wet. Mobility is typically embraced and can allow you to grow your skill set and career. Unfortunately have a histoy of underpaying people

Fun People
My favorite part of MS is the people. Our column of desks at work became like a family with everyone being very supportive and personable. I'm not sure if all areas of the floor were like this but I sincerely liked the people I interacted on a day-to-day basis.

Great Culture
Excellent culture at this firm. Everyone looks out for each other on the team. However, not a place to be if you are looking for pay. HR department does not promote employee motivation nor employee retention. This is a conservative type of firm that likes to work more with less.

Good place to work but feel that my direct manager wasn't supportive
I often interacted with many people across many departments and all are very kind and helpful. I never felt my own manager was able to be the same way making working day to day very uncomfortable.

Fairly Typical Wall Street Firm with Normal Positives and Negatives.
Morgan Stanley is a typical Wall Street Firm. The culture is not a bad one but quite bureaucratic and structured. A lot of this has to do with the simple fact that it is a very large company in a very regulated industry.
