Don't do it.
It is with great sadness that I write this review. In training, everyone in my class was hyped up and excited to have this job. We then finished training, got on the phones and encountered a new reality. Anyone that has worked a customer service job knows how nasty customers can be so that was not anything new. What was new is the amount of micromanaging that occurs. Every second and action you take on the clock is micromanaged and criticized. There are as many policies and procedures as a government job but you do not get the benefits, pay and the ability to move at the same pace as a government worker. They have unrealistic expectations for us, especially for what you are paid.
They grade your calls as either a 0 or a 100 and it is easy to find a fault with your call so that means you rack up zeros. Zeros are a blow to your pride. Your coworkers can also leave peer feedback on you and it does not matter if their allegations are legit. This reflects poorly on you and destroys your pride too.
Customer satisfaction surveys are the most important metric.Customers are also sent surveys and if they grade the call a neutral or dissatisfied, you get a zero. A lot of the times the customer is not satisfied because of hold time or policies that we have no control of and then we get a zero. Not only do we get a zero, we get coached on that call and blamed for it. The customer satisfaction goal set is very unrealistic and it is everything at Kellyconnect.

I was hired in as a business administrator for a Vendor Management System as a contractor on a 1 year contract. I had just a little experience with Vendor management systems at just over half of a year but management had a lot of faith in me. I was hired in directly after just 3 months on the contract. When starting I took over for someone who had more than 7 years experience. I started managing the program with 17 accounts. He only managed one account with another vendor management system. At that point the department was struggling to keep up with the 17 accounts and was always extremely behind. My team consisted of me and another worker who assisted part time. This worker had been with company for 10 years and managed only 1 account. Routinely that co-worker did not assist and I was left managing the 17 accounts and growing while he struggled to keep up with 1. He had a different sexual orientation and seemed to get away with doing less and it seemed that this may have been due to this lifestyle choice. The company seemed to shy from reprimanding him due to possible backlash of discrimination accusations. Me and him were good friends on the job even though he often self admittedly did not pull his weight. After 6 months at the position the department had grown and eventually there were more than 30 accounts. I was working from 7 in the morning until 10 or 11 at night on a regular basis. I brought our struggles to the department manager and she spoke of adding help to this

I regret taking this job
It sounds great working from home and working with Apple products, but it quickly became too much to take. To sum it up, you are given 15 days of “training” before they force you into taking calls all by yourself. The first 2 weeks of what they call "Academy" you are hit with absolutely nothing useful when it comes to actually doing your job. I had an awful teacher who did nothing but slack off. She was nice but she would give us 2 hours a day in 15-20 breaks, over an hour for lunch, too much time for assignments, skip over a lot of material, force us to fall a day or 2 behind. I never really did anything. Kelly doesn’t care how much you know, they care about getting paid. They don’t make money off you until you start taking calls, so they push you right into calls quickly so they can start billing Apple for your hours. All they tell you is “use your resources,” which sums up the entire 15 days of training.
After training, you spend 10 days taking calls all by yourself. You are graded heavily. They listen to your calls and will shame you from day one if you mess up. North Stars are given in your first 4 days of calls, which is where they brutally grade you and give you a 0% if you have one category that is deemed “needs improvement,” even if you meet or exceed expectations on everything else. You will carry this North Star with you the following 90 days and too many bad North Stars will get you fired, which just adds to the insane pressure feeling like you could get let go

Good for starting out, but no real long term propsects and can be stressful
Tl;dr: It’s okay, know your districts and what you’re getting into as a teacher. Not a place for long-term prospects.
I had just graduated with my education degree when I started working here. It's a good place to experience and decide if teaching is really for you. You can select your own hours and the schools you wish to work in so there’s a bit of flexibility and you don’t have to work somewhere you know is not the best. Some of the districts are really nice and the kids, staff, and parents are really wonderful and go out of their way to make you feel appreciated and welcome. It’s nice when you get praised for your hard work and students remember you and say hi as you walk down the hall or they see you in another classroom. They do provide benefits, but I left before I could make use of them.
However, there are not really any growth opportunities within Kelly Services. Pay is not the best if you don’t have long-term assignments. Alongside that, you are pretty much on your own as an employee. Depending on the district, you can meet some of the worst kids, staff, and parents and feel truly alone in your working experience and basically just like a glorified and stressed babysitter. Some of these people have no respect for you no matter how hard you work. And it be competitive getting into the good districts can be, so you can sometimes only be left to go work somewhere where you are definitely not valued.
I also could not enter some of the school buildings early to prepa

ConsThe good districts are competitive, some districts house the worst people imaginable, pay is not really worth the stress you go through sometimes, you're at the whim of the schools, assignments can be changed literally last minute, no long-term prospects or growth opportunities, very unstable
This is the worst company to ever work for. I was initially contracted through Kelly Services in October 2018 to work for the company I’m currently working at. My recruiter was not clear when offering me the job that I would not be receiving PTO, holiday pay and made the executive decision for a disabled veteran to work 30 hours a week for $14.00/hour with a child at home. Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2018, I didn’t receive holiday pay because it was only one day of non-pay. Here comes Christmas 2018, my manager at my company wasn’t even clear with information discussed with Kelly Services if I was supposed to receive holiday pay AFTER I submitted my timesheet and it was approved. Kelly Services contacted me the week AFTER I got paid for Christmas and told me they had to retroactively take the money back that was paid to me out of my next check (which they actually did) and I called and made a complaint and was told my recruiter quit, then at this moment, all of a sudden she was at a different plant going through training and this is all coming from her supervisor. Unfortunately, this has all set my bills back 30-60 days for the two week pay that was approved without correct knowledge or proper discussion from Kelly Services recruiter. Now, I’ve been applying to other positions beyond the location I’m at currently and this past Wednesday and Thursday I had a KellyConnect virtual interview scheduled and was cancelled by a KellyConnect associate and was told when they get word
ProsActually find you a job/“work” and that’s it.

This place is only good if you really need a job till you find something else. When you first start everyone makes this job sound amazing and like it will be the best place to work. Then, as the months go by you start seeing how much of a mess it is. There is no yearly raises. Only way to get s raise is to move to different positions. Your TL will push you to apply for higher up positions. The only reason they due is because if one of their advisors on the team move up they get a bonus. If you get denied a higher up position when applying. They do not give you any explanation and just send a mass email telling you to ask your TL how you can improve. The problem with that is your stats can be in the required percentage and also good attendance, which they claim to base it off, so all your TL says is keep doing what you do and put your name out there. So basically suck up to certain people. They will make up rules and they do not notify employees about or have in the handbook. When you ask about why people are not told about it they just act like it’s a secret rule. Some TLs are super nice and helpful and others are not. It’s basically the luck of the draw if you get a good one. As for your supervisor some will interact with the advisors and make sure everything is ok and others you won’t even know you have a supervisor and could care less. There is no benefit to this job other than a paycheck, that’s if the payroll department can even get it right. It is a constant fight to

Poor local management
Kelly Services is not a bad company, the leadership is as a whole supportive and knowledgeable. However, corporate management should make a bigger effort to confidentially gather feedback from full time employees on their local leadership and operations. There was a dramatic negative shift affecting business and morale of full time employees. Dishonest business practices started to become the norm, and even encouraged-doing anything necessary including falsifying records to meet the needs of the customer. Work/life balance and support were no longer important and the focus was solely on gaining a bigger presence in the local market with little to no regard for the employees who were making it happen. Ultimately this resulted in the loss of several large accounts due to overworked, underpaid and burned out employees. The irony is staffing levels decreased, placing even more burden on the employees, who were required to perform the jobs of 3, even 4 employees with no increased salary to compensate. Not only was there no recognition for assuming these responsibilities, there was little to no support from management, and no tolerance or flexibility on family emergencies, illnesses, appointments, etc. Additionally, due to the decrease in staffing levels, it became the norm for their to be multiple payroll issues for the temporary employees, and other serious issues which required constant escalation to the corporate level. The management became a dictatorship watching from the sid

- A typical day at work
A typical day would consist of order picking with a headset and wrist scanner. Orders would be dropped in Zones via conveyer belt made by box & label makers. Each Picker/Packer had their own Zone to pick in and there were a total of 30 zones in between a conveyer belt that extend through out the warehouse. I would have to stay till the very end until all orders were finished.
- What You Learned
I learned that Monoprice distributes a vast variety of electronic accessories the range from computer wires, mouse pads, keyboards, cell phone cases, Ipad cases, video game controllers and some consoles etc. etc. etc. I also learned the company only hires through the temp agency KELLY SERCIVES but does not hire any temps to a permanent spot. This was the first time using a headset or Vocollet (as they called) to pick orders and at first it is a little frustrating using because the Vocollet has trouble identifying your voice. But if you had previous experience using an RF scanner picking orders this is really no difference and you'll be fined. You get an hour lunch. During the holiday season (October to January) expect to do around 10 to 12 hours a day and after seasons end (February to September) you'll average around 35-40 hours a week.

Blatantly Dishonest
These people messed up my state tax form 3 times even though I filled it out how I needed for tax purposes. They offer a 500 bonus and raise after 90 days which I never got because they don’t tell you that there are work requirements and stipulations within a certain timeframe in order to receive it. I called Payroll about it and they saw I got the raise but couldn’t explain why I didn’t get the bonus. They don’t have PTO or even an allotment of UPTO. You get points varying from .5 to a whole point for taking off unless you submit a request but if that day already has a lot of requests from others it won’t be approved. They also don’t tell you that there’s this “secret” number of time off requests you can make In the portal before they all start being denied and then you have to start calling attendance. It does not matter if you have an outage or issue due to them or you you still do not get paid for the time missed however if it is an issue on their end you won’t get paid or get any points but you will get points if it’s your fault. Before I accepted the job I advised them I had just found out I was pregnant and was high risk they said it was no problem and offered me the job anyway. My team lead sucked as he had only recently been promoted himself. He tried to act like he cared and was relatable, but really he was only doing just enough so that he could get his bonus for every one of his team members that got moved up. They constantly changed policies. They made it where y

How are the working hours at Kelly Services?
Asked Jun 17, 2016
I requested early morning and still have to work until 8pm everyday
Answered Nov 17, 2020
The position is full time; 40 hours.
There are three types of schedules that can be offered after your 90 day tenure & successful metrics/work ethic. They are as follows:
1. Five 8hr shifts with one weekend day off and the other off day fluctuates.
2. Split shifts throughout the day, or workweek that still total up to 40hrs. example: come in from 8am-12pm and then come back in that night from 9-11pm.
3. 10hr shifts with the same work schedule/hours and off days every week; 3 off days. example: I worked 12:30p-11:30p with an hour lunch. My hours and off days never changed like the 8hr shifts where you are scheduled anywhere between 1p-11p
Kelly has very flexible options for scheduling. In the event that you can’t come in, you may give your shift away and have someone else pick it up for you. You may switch shifts with anyone else if you need a specific day off, and want to work their shift so you can be off. You may also request off. PTO is given after a year of employment and also as rewards.

You apply online, they send you a confirmation email. You will then either be rejected or selected for the next step in the process, which is scheduling your video interview. It is extremely hard to get an open slot for the interview. No slot, no interview, no job.
TIP: new interview times are usually posted after midnight.
You will have to check the link periodically to see if a slot becomes available.
Once you have scheduled your interview, you can do it on your iPhone through the App link they provide. It’s like a FaceTime interview.
The interview isn’t hard, and the recruiters are really nice. They will tell you then if you got the job or not.
Once you get the job, you get your orientation date & training start date. After orientation all of your equipment will be shipped out before you are scheduled to start training.
