Overall Reviews at JPMorgan Chase

Open structure floor work
I was a part time worker as a mail extraction. Working 18 hrs on Saturday/Sunday only.
Good place to work for college students and full time.
Flexible hours

Depending on group you work, experience vary
In the name of Female empowerment, the company has bias for resource and their opportunities. If you are working in IT in some departments, you are better off finding a job else where..

Top-Tier Financial services company
The company is focused on process and control deploying the latest technologies to provide services and manage resources in a large, global technology environment.

It's Chase
Typical bank that's all about making numbers grow to impress shareholders.
You will work and meet goals but as they say you can't satisfy greed. But good co workers for the most part.

Productivity driven
If you are a banker you are expecting to make significant number of cold call everyday. Pay as performance culture. Work environment depending on branch and manager,

Used to be a great Company
Chase used to be a great company, they however decided to not only put customers ahead of their employees they decided to combine roles and add extra work for employees. The pay is better than most companies however the stress is not worth it. Knowing that even if a customer yells at you, your manager will still give in. I used to be an ABM and the hours were terrible, no proper lunch or breaks, and the pay was definitely not worth all the stress.
ProsBenefits
ConsManagers get no proper lunches or breaks, not enough pay for the extra work. Entitled customers who get their way

JPM has many very dedicated, smart people working for it.
As a consultant working on a remediation project in AML space, they work was demanding and fast paced, and the pay was quite good. The full-time pay offered, however, was inadequate, management was forever changing, and upward mobility was pretty much non-existent. I did, however, learn a lot and interact with some very talented people.

Great place to work.
This is a great place to work, the benefits are good, and there is a great culture. The only downside is related to layoffs, which is due to the economy. Other than that, this is a great place to make a career.

I worked there for a long time. Moving through the ranks of one department. It was a family environment until it wasn't.
We went through many mergers. The last one broke up that family culture in the department I supported.

Good projects with great learning opportunities
Collaborative environment with fast-paced project deliveries. Multiple projects running simultaneously, short meetings but busy calendars. Great learning opportunities however you own your learnings and are responsible for self-development.
