Top management sucks
Worked for 25 years. Last 3 years I was targeted then placed on a development plan. How can I be awesome for 22 years then suck? Top management at hotel is horrible. Don’t like you and will do everything possible to make you quit

Hyatt truly cares about associates. Before the pandemic took hold, it was a positive environment and one I miss! I would recommend anyone to consider Hyatt as theIr hospitality career choice.

Fun work place
I had great experience working for the Hyatt. I learned new skills everyday. I learned how to handle guests complaints and requests fairly well. I enjoyed working with my co-workers as well as the management also enjoyed guests interaction in person and on the phone.

Great Work Culture and great compensation/ benefits
The Hyatt is by far the best company I ever worked for. Such a great work environment, managers were nice and fair. Incredible benefits and amazing coworkers from top to bottom in all departments. Unfortunately the corona virus greatly affected the Hotel industry and many people got laid off at least for the moment.
ProsCafeteria with free lunch and dinner and salad bar, good pay wages, great benefits, great culture

Group or Team I worked with.
Drawback, there was only 1 computer for food & beverage accounts payable. The people I worked with were GREAT, we supported each other
and worked like a Swiss time piece.
ProsKona coffee
ConsWomen couldn't wear pants with their suites. Discrimination.

Strong workforce, weak leadership
Worst leadership group I have ever worked for. Most associates know and excel in their assigned duties. Recognition from most of the leadership group is purely "lip service". It was the first time in 44 years of employment history that I found I could not work with someone. A person with the responsibility for an entire department should have some moral compass.

Productive and exciting place to work.
As a long term employee I helped institute procedures for the store. I am the trainer and the organizer. I feel I have a very good sense of humor and really enjoy working with the public. Since I have been working there for the last 16 years I know I need to find other employment. The position I hold is still very exciting and it holds respect from others.

my duties and responsibilities
I am happy working in Hyatt Regency hotel I been working in this hotel almost 10 years, I just want to apply in another company to challenge my ability. I am working as a self checkers it means I have the responsibility to make it sure that the room everything is perfect before I release the room.
