Nice surprise, they turned out to be organised, trained 800 plus staff all remotely in a short time. They have various different campaigns and you can apply to move. My colleagues were friendly and professional despite we were all working remotely.

Too much like being in high school
Do not like it here. They make the job not enjoyable and they play favorites. I would not recommend this place. If are desperate for a job then sure. But for a career it is not good.
ProsNothing
ConsToo many nitpicking rules and do not get sick you will get fired.

Great experience. You have to be ready to accept challenges from all angles. You will need to be a fast learner. I enjoy working here because of diversity. The days differ. You never know what to expect.

Long live the company! (Humans need not apply)
A typical day at work is used holding your bladder, as even at home unless you work on the toilet they will dock your pay for missing 45 seconds on the phone by 15 minutes. Corporate memo: "Dedicated employees use catheters, failure to comply will result in a write-up". This job has taught me that there is no underhanded trick too low for the corporate world. Another memo from corporate: "Due to our revolving door of human numbers, we will require you to work 8 more hours this week, also we will find a way to dock your pay by 8 hours" Please review our convenient pay app (that we wholly control and manipulate on whim). Management at HGS consists wholly of uneducated drones who will do the bidding of their corporate masters regardless of how inhumane it might seem. Workplace culture is getting the most productivity without regard for morale, and without incentive. The hardest part of the job is realizing there is no god, and you are a slave forever. The most enjoyable part of the job is realizing you have 8 hours to sleep before you have to go back to this nightmare of a workplace.
ProsA point system!

Medicare Health Insurance
HGS is a good place to work and get customer service experience. Your every day job expectations is to take calls and help customers with any questions they might have about their health insurance. Management is always there to assist you and help you grow. The hardest part of this job is to be sitting all day on the same place and its very hard for them to approve your PTO because every day is a critical day. The good thing about the job you get to make new friendships and get to know a lot of great people.

Productive and fun workplace
this job is great if you wish to not deal with customers directly. Most of the phone calls are from nurses and doctors, deal with the pharmacists more as well as the responsive times of doctors and nurses are better.

The day start with employees login to the system, and then my first call had to be done after 3 minutes of login, work was so stressful and management was less helpful

Terrible place
This place is a joke. You will not advance anywhere in that company unless you know someone of unless you hang out with management. The management there is very unprofessional and has relationships with reps and management above them. Most of the managers will throw you under the bus in a second. I would not recommend this job to anyone.
ProsNone
ConsHR will not help you because they are friends with management. You are just a number to them.

See the movie office space in R.L.
If you want to find out what Prison Life is like, In a semi Working environment then this may be the job for you. You will be required to punch in with your card use your security card on all exits and rooms inside. you will need to ask the boss to go for a Rest room Break, but don't you be worried your pay will be suitably docked for the companies loss of your time. If you have any Concerns keep them to yourself or expect to a disciplinary meeting if your shoes untied. If you have any issues about the way you are treated as an individual, don't be concerned just remember the drapery is more important then you. This is not a work place where individuality is wanted or welcome
ProsNot Much To say here.. since i saved a moment ill go to the rest room...
ConsYes Boss there are many! what was the code to punch in so I can go to the rest room .. hmm?

Slow paced
Slow paced - no opportunity to develop and no pressure. Training is ok but no opportunity to raise queries and questions upon completion. Managers appear to know less about the role than staff and employees support the manager.
ProsLittle pressure
ConsSlow paced and no professional development

Call center
When I worked for HGS it was a lot different than it is now. Due to changes in management and departments I cannot speak what it is like now. Due to the nature of call center work it is I would rate this as a high stress job
