No work life balance
Little work life balance. Far too much travel. Very hard to complete your home room requirements and work all the hours expected. Very little senior management support.

Great company with opportunity to grow not only as a professional but as a person. Very supportive environment with patient focus. I highly recommend Heartland.

Not the company for people with a solid work ethic
I have been with this company for almost 10 years. I've advanced only once in my station, however, I have made multiple attempts to advance since my last promotion almost five years ago and continue to be rejected even though I am more than qualified based on the job design. The mission, vision and core values that this company loves to preach are only followed by those who truly value them. Those people do not receive a promotion or encouragement, even if their offices are profitable. If you're interested in being part of the popular girls club, then you'll fit right in here, even if you have no clue how to run a successful business.

Greatful for having a job
I have learned a lot while working here and am very great full I have a job. I love working with the Public. Management is good, I feel the owner does not care much city regulations, such as permits etc.. I would like there to be some type of advancement at my current job. There is nothing really hard about my job, I enjoy what I do, I would like to move on and learn new things. I worked in the Medical field before working here I really enjoyed the patients.

Management and Company only value the mighty dollar
Heartland Dental Company is at best the worst company I have ever worked for. I have been lied to by management numerous time. They blow smoke so you comply and then never follow through. Everything that is done by Heartland is fueled by money. They do not care about their employees and especially do not care about the patients. They only care about where they can make money. They only reason I stayed as long as I did was because I worked for a phenomenal team.

Not what it’s presented as
Always saying one thing but actually requires something else to get the job done or meet goals. Claims to be Dr. led but actually bullies Dr’s. Can’t trust anyone and always made to feel your job is in jeopardy.

Productive Steady Paced
A typical work day would include answering the phone and making appointments for patients and tending to their needs. Receiving Co Pays for patients appointments. Checking in and checking out patients for their dental appointment. Doing the end of the day by computer sending in necessary documents to home office, breaking down the money to complete the daily deposit. My workplace was very friendly and welcoming and I loved working with the patients and interacting with them.

Overall a Great Company
Lots of travel and paid training. Great compensation. Must go against your own morals/ethics at times in order to advance.
