Upper management poorly motivates non-management. Respect of non-management is minimal.
I would not go to work for this company if given the opportunity again. Management is poor at doing their jobs. In some departments, "the inmates run the asylum".

Be ready to work physically labor
Management is a big issue for me. Supervisor need management training etc. He lies often but let your discernment filter out the bs. Often times, you may have to go overhead to find out the truth of the matter in whatever is going on dealing with work, schedules, etc.

Great place to work
Great place to work. Management was outstanding and showed they cared for their employees in their departments. They did things like having drawings for free stuff with attendance and fed employees when road conditions were horrible.

Excellent place to work
Management and fellow employees are great teachers, and pleasant to be around. Very fast paced working environment. Highly recommended this as a place to work for anyone willing to learn and work where you are challenged every day.

Average trucking company.
Drove for a bulk mail company, that employed quality people.
Hours varied.
Smaller hub out of Des Moines, Iowa.
Not supportive of FMLA and helping employees through medical issues.

Great company
Great company just hard to advance. Mangement was very flexible and understanding. Ok pay, and ok benefits. Just takes forever to advance to a full time employee

They don't stick to there word I just wish they would have gave me a chance I was really good employee I even
I w was a really hard worker and I dedicated myself 100%, I did things guys could normally not do or do have a great worker they kept leading me on like had chance of being a permanent employee but I I love that job it kept me young

Felt like working on a plantation!
Forward air is just another corporate American company that takes advantage of their workers & doesn’t compensate for the hard work & sacrifice. You basically have to play the kiss butt or be friends of management just to be considered for promotion.
I would not recommend working for this company unless you enjoy being talked down to like a child, lack of leadership and being under compensated unless you’re in good with management.

ConsNo leadership, ego & power trip’s, not compensated properly for hard work, favoritism, corporate American business, etc.

Not satisfied
I've worked for this company for 4 years with minimal raises and no room to grow. I would have loved to stay and continue my career at FA but when ends don't meet, I have to look elsewhere.
