Its Okay
There is really no chance to grow. Managers pick favorites. They really don't care for their sales Associates and let people get away with almost anything.

Good Learning experience
It was chaotic at times, with it being a multi-leveled establishment. For the most part it was always work to be done, staying busy was not an issue.

Great clothing store, nice environment great attitudes towards customers.
Great merchandising, well put together store, high energy level, great learning skills from management and visuals. It's nice working with a lot of different people because everyone brings a different perspective about a situation or a duty. I would say the hardest part of the job is maintaining your composer, only because there is a lot of different things going on at once, but the most I enjoyed is the environment and the customers, pleasing them with great customer service making them come back and continue there shopping experience with the company.

always keeping me busy and everyone here is extremely nice and professional. We all felt like family and most times had each others backs. They wanted me to learn and grow.

Pros
-The most enjoyable part of my job; the constantly the changing visual elements and fast place environment. Also in this company as a visual you are allowed to express your creative style.
-I have also developed a strong visual team which has grown tremendously.
-I love training and developing people and watching them grow to where they want to be.
-I had a great relationship with my co-workers and subordinate managers.
-The hardest part of my job is to stay motivated without resources and support.
I have learned how to proficiently self-teach and self manage a team in the most not opportune conditions.

A typical day here was upload reports and update on a daily basis.

I was at the Forever 21 HQ two years. There is a lot of relocation of people on teams, people get switched to different teams very often. Some people get preferential treatment especially if they are friends with the owners. Brown nosing goes a long way in this company.

Was not much room for progression
As far as the retail jobs, it was a lot of hard labor with little pay, long hours, and not much room for growth. Some environments were toxic with certain co-workers but I learned skills along the way such as multitasking and better organization and paying attention to detail.

Rung up an average of 30 customers per day. Dealt with many forms of payment. Learned operational functions of the retail store. Management is sometimes helpful but not all the time. The workplace felt like being in high school again with employees forming clicks. Hardest part of the job, working on jewelry. Most enjoyable part of the job, helping customers find outfits for special occasions.

Amazing place, family vibes, great teamwork
I loved my long experience at Forever 21. Everyone that I had the opportunity to work with each taught me something so important that I will always keep in my mind. Anyone that has the opportunity to work at a store has to be ready for LOTS of hard work, but it is very worthwhile.

A very fun and exciting place to work at with so much to learn
Started with the company as an associate and moved up to assistant general manager. The company is really big on internal promotion which kept everyone motivated.
