Generally good place to work. Upscale complex in Las Colinas. 23rd floor. Catered food every day to main building; cafes in other nearby buildings. Covered parking.

A very productive work environment without having much of any lag time. Never boring work and associates were different & fun to work with....
Overall, Flowserve was a very good company to work for, with excellent Health Benefits and 401K plan.
Multiple facilities throughout the world so if relocation was required, you could still stay within the company.
Only a few cons listed below.

The management at flowserve ss is very bad Corporate needs to know this.
Management just I Sulphur Springs went crazy past 3 years... I've worked there 18 years I had no right ups,never late I started to work when I clock in and stayed busy..I got layed off they keep the ones the was younger and ride the clock and no team work

Well paying company when there isn't a pandemic
I enjoyed working in the manufacturing environment. I felt like a valued employee in the role I played there. I learned a great deal about the company and fell that I made a positive contribution while there.

challenging and dynamic work place
Flowserve has undergone a lot of change and the executive level. The CEO has 3 years and the CFO just a few months. The CFO position has seen a lot of turnover in the past 10 years. They are 3 years into a Flowserve 2.0 transformation that is trying to achieve more standardization across many manufacturing facilities.

Heavily tied to the oil and gas industry
Flowserve was a good place to work at while the oil and gas industry was performing well. Once the price of oil started to fall, so did Flowserve profits and the lay-offs began.

For the last 6+ years I have been a Sales Engineer focusing on Compressor Gas Seals, Seal Support Systems, and Field Service products. My OEM & Enduser territory was the North East USA and Canada and Global Proposal Development Teams and SCM. I also successfully executed and supported several global projects with my Global Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams in tandem with the EPC’s, EU’s, and OEM’s. I have hands on knowledge of compressor retro-fits and upgrades and a strong history of field service support at the Enduser & OEM accounts. I also bring 13 years of Engineering, R&D, Testing, and Design knowledge that allows me to logically understand, process, and resolve product issues and come up with creative engineering and design solutions that can save the Customers and employers’ time and money. I have a strong working and personal relationship with my co-works and customers and believe this is one of the most critical role of sales.

High Stress
Corporate management continued to make changes that were detrimental to the success of the company as a manufacturer. As business declined, staff was cut several times. This increased the chances of failure for meeting goals. In the end, I was one of the staff that was cut in the name of saving company money.
