Working with this company is great but you have to pick the right store to work at. You have people that are great and people that cant do the job but that’s everywhere.

It is a good place to work, no doubt...
Not a bad place to work at all. The promotions sometimes take too long for an average person that feels they deserve it, but other than that , there is room to grow and learn more. The F&D at Reynoldsburg had good people that truly cared and encouraged you to advance or answered questions if you ever get stumped. IDK much about the pay, but I guess to each their own.

Good
Its a fair job , if you succeed and show growth you will find more opportunities. Job is very knowledgeable, requires you to learn a lot but in due time you will learn.
ProsGreat opportunities

Pays decent, too much drama.
Managers are a pain, alot of manager versus manager. If the other manager is not yours, and is upset with another, they may be unfair to you. Managers are majority women and one of them straight out acts as if she hates men. I've seen good workers talked down upon. Also a lot of night time versus day time.

It’s horrible and management will over work employees. Management don’t do anything but sit around and while ordering employees to work it’s honestly really sad

This isn’t the best
I was demoted for religious reasons. I also told management that we would have problems with certain aspects of inventory if we don’t do something soon. No one listened and everything I told them happened. I Hope that this help someone decide not to work there. They honestly could have a great place to work. But, they don’t take for consideration the voice of their employees or values them.

Customer driven
Retail environment, customer centric and I work across all departments including Front end and receiving. I assist in training the sales team.
I am a top sales performer in Midwest region and directly manage the largest Wood department in Chicago market ( 6 stores ).
ProsSmall company feel
ConsTough schedule

Fast paced work place
You are required to do a lot of lifting regardless of the position you're in. Everyone knows that if you're hired in tile you are condemned to lift and stack many many pallets of tile a day. They will over work you if you let them. Some managers were nice but others including the CEM had 0 consideration for anything.
ProsNice breakroom, vending machines, free water bottles.
Consno benefits for part-timers, not even sick days or vacation hours.
