Job Summary:
MAPMG is seeking an Accounts Payable and Physician Payroll Coordinator to work as part of the Physician Payroll and Accounts Payable processing team. The Accounts Payable and Physician Payroll Coordinator is responsible for functions and processes related to provider scheduling management, electronic time keeping, accounts payable processing, expense report processing and other duties and responsibilities. Works with various Medical Group and Health Plan employees to ensure paging system, electronic time sheets, accounts payable invoices, and expense reports are up to date and accurate. Primary clerk for accounts payable and expense report processing. Addresses issues impacting each service area and Regional operations, and documents common understandings and issue resolution.
This position may begin fully remotely and will eventually be based in our regional office in Rockville, Maryland with the ability to work from home a few days a week.
Responsibilities:
Reconciles vendor statements and resolves any invoice discrepancies
Responds to inquiries from vendors, staff, and department leadership; investigates questions related to billing issues; acts as a liaison between departments and vendors. Corresponds with vendors, as needed.
Communicates with physicians, staff, and vendors regarding procedural requirements for processing transactions.
Communicates routinely with provider management schedulers and Physician leads, to support and maintain desired levels of clinical access.
Serves as a subject matter expert in working through time keeping, accounts payable, expense and schedule maintenance issues with Team members, chiefs, and other leadership personnel.
Ensures accounts payable vendor issues are resolved on a timely basis and supports accounts payable stakeholders throughout the organization.
Ensures compliance with MAPMG payroll policies and pay practices in pursuit of the duties and responsibilities herein.
Coordinates with team members and communicates concerns or workflow problems to appropriate stakeholder(s).
Adheres to Principles of Responsibility (KP’s code of conduct) by maintaining confidentiality, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable Federal and State laws and regulations, accreditation, and licensure requirements, and KP policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of accounts payable and administrative experience to include independently coordinating, prioritizing, meeting deadlines, and completing projects
Bachelors degree in relevant field is preferred
Experience working across organizational levels, detail-oriented work, analytic, and computerized payroll preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in PC spreadsheets, and word processing required
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in physician scheduling software preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processing and general accounting experience required.
Ability to read and interpret various schedules and schedule formats with proficiency in data entry and management required.
Good sense of discretion, confidentiality, and judgment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to form and maintain positive relationships and manage resources and personnel effectively.
