Great company
FedEx Express is a great company in which to work. Worked there for 20 years and received 5 promotions during a high growth period, was able to lead the market restructure and expansion during that time.

When you think your working hard, just look around and everyones working as hard
Fed Ex was the best place I have ever worked! We were titled "Industrially athletes," Think of it as getting paid to workout, and the people I worrd with were the most fun and focused in the industry. The customer were also a lot of fun keeping us hopping with orders sent out and shipped to them, I wonced had a shipper send out enough fright that I blew out an entire 737 by myself, Im not sure if anyone has done this again or Im still the 1st! I miss working with Fed Ex ( or just being around Fed Ex ) I blew my back out, but if I could I would in a heart best, do yourself a favor and fill out an app, you wont regret it.

Company needs new CEO
Management was great, you are over worked and under paid.
Benefits were great also.
Most employees were nice, too much favoritism in the work place, Your loyalty is not noticed.
Their horrible on compensation of employees working through the pandemic.

People
Work/Life Balance and due to what is going on today with COVID19 the company is really looking out for it's employees. FedEx really cares about it's employees to make sure that all has what is needed to do their jobs working remotely and making sure they are remaining safe. No rush to go back to the office any time soon.

fast-paced, career-driven people
Management is constantly changing however Fedex is a giant corporation, people move around a lot in that company. Typical day is fast-paced, physical, be prepared to stretch; I met a lot of people and got a lot of on-the-job training through out my time there. Most rewarding part about the job is that there is a lot of room to grow if you are in it for the long haul.

The job is what you make of it.
Being a courier for FedEx Express has opened my eyes to the world of logistics. It is a complex, multi-faceted and at times extremely frustrating job to have. The starting pay is decent but when I hired in I was told it would be a 10-step progression for a 10-year top out, but have not received a step progression in over 2 years (meanwhile the company just set a record for highest quarterly revenue ever - and it was done outside of peak season and during COVID-19). Management support is fleeting and at times completely overwhelmed. Vehicles range from brand new to worn out. It's challenging at times even to get basic supplies like windshield washer fluid or DEF and uniforms. I was hoping to retire from FedEx Express but am not sure it's a job that will allow me the time I need for my family.

Complessivamente mi sono trovata molto bene, sebbene ci siano stati notevoli problemi organizzativi da parte del management.
Purtroppo l'azienda non intende assumere a tempo indeterminato.
