Don't Do It.....Worse Company I have EVERY Worked For
This company expects a lot from you,but give you nothing in return.
If you stand up for yourself, the manager(s) do not like it and will make it hell for you to work there, even try to get rid of you!
The hours are long,I was working around 45 hours a week between 8am and 6pm, on a two week rota.Every other week you are expected to work an alternative Saturday WITHOUT a day off in the week,so that's a straight 6 day week!!
Booking holidays in done on-line and can be a nightmare. If a Saturday you would normally be working falls in the holiday you want to book off,you have to swap it with another driver and work TWO weeks continuously with only Sundays off! Or take the Saturday as unpaid.
Money is very poor, minimum wage at £6.31ph. The company does not recognise overtime,so if you are late back in you don't get paid for it! This is very bad for a big company with big profits. This shows how they care about the staff that work for them.
The vans are tracked and have a cameras, which records sounds,so anything you say in the van will be recorded and can be listen to my manager!
The Role: Collect and check your parts for delivery.Sometimes you go out with just one drop to a customer, other times it can be 5 or 6 drops on a run. You can do between 8 and 16 drops a day. I preferred going out with more drops,as I would be out on the road for a longer period of time.
Some customers you had to collect cash on delivery. If you didn't get the cash, then the money would be
ProsMeeting people
ConsLong hours, Minimum wage, Working 6 week and a lot more
Because of the management, the people work under pressure and all ar very stressful
I work in goods inn area ,is a good department where you can grow up in the werhouse, but because of the management, every day more people ar quit from work..
iam working last 4 year in euro car parts as a warehouse assistance my main duites is picking and packaging and all main duites warehouse and customer services
I work at the Northampton branch and it's not a brilliant place to work but not the worst at the same time, good bunch of people apart from the supervisor who is a massive C*NT! The pay isn't great minimum wage and deserve more for the amount of work you are made to do.
Proslearn more about cars, staff discount, free food
Consvery dusty environment to work in, low pay, missing stock
No point reviewing this company as all they are after is for you to get your employee number and then start using and abusing all there power, if you get a decent branch the drivers and warehouse teams are always accepting and friendly but the management never care about you and are only after your blood and sweat
managers don’t listen and keep making working there worse. Changing all the days like Sunday runs are to long and trying to make you use reduced rest on Mondays because of it also making you do cover shifts when you don’t know what run you’ll be doing till a day before. Then they are all wondering why drivers are all leaving. This place really needs to have a think about what the drivers want.
with better management it could be a nice place to work regardless of the low pay
loved driving out and meeting customers.
Rubbish pay, no organization. Overtime goes un noticed and they would try all sorts of tricks to get out of paying you.
Prosmeet some really friendly customers at their place of work
Consno breaks, overtime goes un noticed, will try to withhold overtime payment until following month, No record of work hours kept
I like the basic part of my job,
speaking with customers, using my skills and tools to get them the correct parts to them.
- this can be undone in many ways
poor management - not enough staff
holidays - sickness, poor operational efforts from staff.
online platforms which list incorrect parts or the users don't have enough savvy to work it, selecting wrong parts
people who aren't trained being put into job roles just to cover
vans needing repairs, days off the road getting repairs which could be avoided.
as long as the tickboxes are done, management don't have the means to improve staff by paying better
reliant on banked hour staff who get paid overtime however they don't get the same employment rights as a full time staff.
company benefits look good on paper, bike2work scheme only available to those on higher salaries
Prosfree coffee - it's instant coffee so not amazing
Overall amazing company to work with. Highly recommended.
Currently Working in the Reading branch has been and continues to be a great experience.
All staff including senior members are polite and more than willing to give you the ability to grow your knowledge and progress in each and every section you possibly could.
All staff made me feel comfortable and I didn’t feel intimidated or nervous asking questions. It is very easy to fit in with the friendly staff
Working towards a daily goal with guidance
Productivity and happiness with every shift. Highly recommend considering the company.

Great people being abused by an ignorant head office
I'll keep it short and sweet.
The people in the branches do the best they can under very difficult circumstances.
The management in the head office seem to be obsessed with meeting targets to the exclusion of all other factors.
If they let the branches build relationships with local customers, the targets would eventually meet themselves. But interference is on an almost pathological scale.
Euros used to be a good employer. But they got taken over, just like the other motor factors. Now money is only thing they care for. You are just a number now. Its minimum wage, but you will work longer and not get paid for it. It can be quite clicky, but most branches have a good team spirit considering. They can just switch you from fulltime to “zero hour” offering next to none hours. The garages you deliver too are sympathetic towards you, as they also know all motor factors do not give a ish about anything but targets and money. Always get the big “i am” in the teams, but you can usually grind the mofos down as they stand out like a thumb.
The career here is a dying trade with the motor industry changing and is evident in you wage and treatment.
ProsGood starter job, Minimum wage, like most jobs now. Can have a good team feeling like Mcdonalds
ConsThe ever changing management, Also H/O, Can disrespect you and switch you from full time to Zero hour contract.

Terrible wage, terrible company
They tell you the wage is good but once you divide that into the 230hrs a month you’ll be doing its barely over minimum wage, the ‘uncapped monthly bonus’ doesn’t exist after working there for 2years not one person received a monthly bonus and the quarterly bonuses are set on near impossible targets, you’ll be moaned at when you want to take your 40min break which is unpaid and you’re made to feel bad for taking it, staff are a great bunch of people however the company is absolutely terrible to work for putting it politely!!

Role Made redundant after 1 year
Do not get involved
Nobody knew whether they had a job from day to day.
Culture of bullying/ bad atmosphere.
Lots of lies from senior management.
Long hours and no support from management, direly understaffed and expected to multi task cover different areas of the business whilst also doing your job, which in such a fast paced company is IMPOSSIBLE, constant grief from management but no real support to grow, management only want to speak to you when something wrong not when you've done something well, your just a number, career progression almost non existent
One of the best companies I have worked for was local to where I live was ashame that they moved the accounts tam to brimingham. If ever a position came up again I would go work for them

Great place to work
Entrepreneurial in role providing a great place to work with great people. Development and continuous improvement culture.
Everyone has a can do attitude,
Euro Car Parts is a fast growing business that hardly rate or consider those that have got them to where they are today. The business can cater for any vehicle but a lot of the behind the scene work is overlooked by the results they produce which is great but I'm a big believer if rewarding the hard ground workers that work day in and out to make sure faultless results are archived.
ProsParts for most vehicles available
ConsManufacturers usually can get special parts Euros cannot
Hard to knock really except low pay otherwise all good! Long hours, about 45 a week for quite little reward butt quite a friendly place with a good atmosphere between all departments.
