Depends on who you work with.
Worked 9 years at this job and enjoyed working with my co-workers. However last few years were difficult with people not wanting to work walking off.

lots of responsibility for very little pay.
The work environment at DGS is good, and the coworkers are fun, but the pay is altogether too low, and it isn't always easy to use the flight benefits because of the schedule.

Do your job well and you are sometimes let go
If management doesn't like you or you turned in management for doing something wrong, the manager will find something mundane to use to get your terminated. That manager has since moved on, but during the time when they were owned by Delta Airlines, management was way out into the left field and would get back at you for doing the right thing.

Enjoyed the flying benefits and work assignments.
Typical day: Publication's Department (Atlantic Southeast Airlines) was a daily meeting to discuss changes and new material for all flight manuals.

DGS is no longer an IT staffing company for Delta
DGS did not provide leadership. It was only a staffing service. Employees reported to hiring manager. There was not the ability to get guidance or participate in career progression via DGS.

The day in the life of a delta agent required you to be alert and
always remember safety is first. I learn so much at delta about people, the life of a ramp agent and all the duties and activities that
comes along with the job, I've been able to work with a great team and also return what I learned to others along the way.
Management always treated there employees as equals. the culture was an exciting place to learn and experience. The most enjoyable part was learning the process of team work.

Second rate Employees
As a contractor you are expected to run through the hoops that FTE people do but perfectly, you can not do anything they will always threaten you and your job. Contractor are basically bottom class employees and are treated so. you are told all the time from management that you are expendable and are not for anything to function.
