The power of cutco brain wash
This company is amazing to work for. The marketing concepts and reward programs are extremely awesome. You walk away from this company with a better since of who you are and what you can become. You not only learn the best way to communicate to others but how you want to be communicated to. You learn that the core values in life also flow into the way you turn customer service into a life you want to be a part of. the hardest thing about this job was the lack of pay rate and benefits. As a sales rep. you drive a lot and meet all types of people. but to this day I have awards and CUTCO that I won that I will hand down for generations to come.

Fun environment
Most of the work was done on my own time as I created my own schedule. Not much interaction with other workers or management. It required much more work than it should have to such low commission.

Good coworkers
The job was good for a little while. I'm just not a "go into stranger's houses with a bunch of knives" kind of sales rep. It was fun doing presentations with people I knew. Got to eat food while doing a demo, the amazed reactions of the customers were always great. It just got frustrating when I ran out of people to call and do demos for.
Prosfun people, eat while work, team/office building activities every week
Consgoing into stranger's houses and being paranoid at the same time, gas usage, need so much motivatinon

You will not be out of work and lots of money to be made
It is a place where you can get out what you put in. There is no other place in the world that I would recommend working for if you are young and without experience than this place

The Managers, were supporting and encouraging.
What stands out for me working at Cutco was the support of the Managers. They were consistent with their calls and always making sure to take the time out to do one on one with me when I was having a problem understanding a certain aspect of the business. The patients and humility with which they direct and teach me while I was there made me wanted to excel. I learned so much about sales and marketing from them that I will definitely use in my future endeavors. The one downside of working at Cutco was not reaching my sales goal.

Great for temporary work not so much for long term
I worked with cutco for a few months and it was true on it's offer of flexible hours for students, but at the time I didn't have a car of my own so it was difficult to make appointments that I could go to and make it to the mandatory Wednesday and Sunday meetings. I ran out of customers pretty quickly, but I do value all the experience I learned there.
Prosflexible hours
Consneed to travel and not reimbursed

fast paced enviroment
To sell cutlery, making outbound calls, door to door. I have learned to probe while selling . management wasn't that goo. coworkers were great team members to get the job task done. hardest part was door to door sales in the sun. loved the pay outcome from each contract.
