It was absolutely amazing working with many different hard working co workers, developed life long friendships with guest, & fellow employees, neighbors, & other businesses around the area, wouldn't change 1 thing about it...

A very fast pace fun to be apart of
It was very fast pace kind of place i learn alot there and the people was very helpful. I learn alot prettie fast. Im a very fast learner i also did brunch every sunday i made lunch for the housekeeper who work there on sunday im there by my self doing breakfast and brunch

the hotel was missing core values, no mission, no values, goals where never set, budget where never reveled, pay caps are ridicules and are set 2 weeks prior to annual reviews, HR was non existent

Wonderful Location with a lot of potential of being the best Hotel in town
Air Conditioning rarely worked in our office in summer, heat rarely worked in our office in the winter. Phone system kept going out, so we would have to compensate with our personal cell phones.
Management was good,
The hardest part of the job was keeping clients due to the AC, Heating and hot water issues.
The most enjoyable part of the job was the team that I worked with on a daily basis.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cedar Rapids Iowa has closed down.
It was renovated and remodeled and is now a Doubletree by Hilton.
Almost nothing of the old Crowne Plaza is still around.

Fun workplace all type of entertainment and sports facility.
Excellent teamwork and friendly atmosphere in place. Pride for working in five star property.

It was a challenging job but I learnt how to deal with it.
