Fast paced work but killer hours!
Fast paced and chaotic at times but hectic pace revealed many signs of safety hazards and management's lack of concern for employees' welfare! Also constant berating of individuals in public was allowed and complaints dismissed as disgruntled employee!
ProsFast paced environment and some good teammates at times.
ConsConstantly berating individuals, no appreciation for individual accomplishments and/or efforts, Pay increases were non-existent despite constant travel and unconventional hours worked.

Sinking ship
They lost their primary client (WalMart) and did a reduction of force at the headquarter location primarily of all workers over age 50.
Experience was purged in multiple areas of I.T., and preferred to keep a contract workforce of people that have zero commitment to the company.

Productive and fun place to work at
The pay isn’t the best but with my job it’s not too bad. Flexibility is good and my manager is very good with her employees.
Fun atmosphere if you enjoy working with people and talking about the products. Even though at this time we are not doing sampling due to the coronavirus but hopefully will in the future
ProsLaid back. Flexibility with hours.
ConsPay isnt the best but for this job its not too bad.

No positive feed back, immediate supervisor has favoritism.
No one on one training/ support... they give you 6 months to just learn to get it right with out mentor help ... my immediate supervisor a little or no help most of my store managers hated Crossmark felt that we never did our job based on previous employees that have worked in their stores

If your looking for backup....
You do not receive support from supervisors, you are not treated fairly. Seniority doesn't mean anything to the company. Raises are not given at all, for performance or anything. I do enjoy working with some of the company clients, they care about me and I them. Mileage is paid but it not what the IRS pays. It is based on where you live and gas prices.
ProsNone
ConsNo advancement. Not treated fairly.

it's a job
Management is in the cloud, via phone. Supervisors come and go frequently. Supplies arrive late or not at all and you miss a days work as a result. Constantly changing policy.
ProsYou work mostly alone
Consit is a real part time job. very few hours less than promised.

I get to go to different wonderful new supermarkets.
I would love to go back to product marketing. I love people and enjoy speaking with every kind of person in this planet. I enjoy cooking very much, which helps in this kind of work. The fun part is to prep the food.

Hated it
My supervisor didn't believe in being fair. Constantly took work away from me to give others he like the work. Ran me ragged, poor supervisory skills. Always thought about himself first & for most
