Worse culture I ever worked at.
It's a job. Very corporate and over the top in P.C.. Huge turnover and terrible customer service. I just departed the company but the truth is still the same.
ProsGood benefits.

Bad management
Coremark is a good company but they hire felons so the company has a lot of employees with bad attitudes and management isnt the best I would highly recommend looking for another warehouse before considering coremark.

High paced work environment with broad range of responsibilities
Decentralized work environment across multiple locations. Typical work day involves working with a variety of people in/ out of the company. Many roles provide a broad range of responsibilities in operations, finance, compliance and HR.

High pace energy needed and a smoking shack outside is available
It's high pace order selecting mostly standing and time goes by very fast. I worked there for five years and missed a day and a half. I averaged 12-14hrs nightly aas there is a lot of work to be done and not too many employees worth asking to stay unless they had to ask due to volume of work to finish picking product and get the trucks loaded

Management is poor. Getting help when needed is not there
management sucks. Getting help when you need it you have to fight for it. New manager is out to send everyone with no help on routes unless extremely big. Pay was okay until I started getting screwed out of help. And not seeing a difference in pay when I'm by myself on bigger routes with more mile. If you wanna be a modern day slave, this is the place for you.

Office cliques and politics will have you hating your job
My job description and responsibilities were constantly changing. My two supervisors would get called out for work not being complete and place blame on me when they were both giving me instructions to do two completely different jobs. In the customer service department I was singled out, placed blame on, and gossiped about because I was the only white woman working among all black women and even though other people in the office knew this was happening nobody would stick their neck out and risk their job to defend me. The office cliques were horrible. Everyone gossiped and talked badly about everyone. You couldn't trust anyone with anything. I really enjoyed the actual work but the office atmosphere was incredibly difficult to handle.
ConsCoworkers, gossip, high school behavior, no help

Not enough of time
Productive and educational. Very busy no time for fun only business. No room for advancement inside the sanford location. To achieve advancement in growth one would have to move to other corporate locations. A typical work day consist of continuous communication between management and employers. The hardest part of my job, was not having enough time to finish my work without interruptions. So every day was a busy day never boring.

What is the interview process like at Core-Mark International, Inc.?
Asked Aug 3, 2016
Poor, went through a temp agency
Answered Aug 12, 2019
1st phone screening with HR which was very long followed by on site interview with general manager for 20 minutes. I was told to wait for a few minutes and was followed up with HR to schedule for a one on one with the director of operations the next week with an assessment test. Was told i would hear back by mid next week ending up being 26 days later by email that i was not hired even with a few replies to HR not being answered. No common courtesy of status of interview is terrible as i was in 2nd interviews at other places at the time.
