Descent starter job.
If your into a structured job, this would be it. Just show up on time, do your morning warm up exercises and learn what they teach you about the equipment and components. You will stand for 90% of your 12 hr. Shift. The Managers try to be helpful, but are willing to stab you in the back to advance their career. A lot of favoritism. My disabilities caught up with me and they cut me loose but gave me disability insurance for free.

Management was horrible but now is much better.
They turned around the management and has improved the mens club was at times unbearable but overall was a fun atmosphere because of the people I worked with. I started and hauled their program for management cause it was chaos.

Great co-workers
There is lots of customer interaction with very mimnimal involvement from management on a daily basis. A fast paced environment to keep you busy, but very repetitive work with not much room for advancement. I made some great friends and established many wonderful relationships with some awesome. customers

Great Learning Experience
I have loved working here since my first day. I learn so much and love the level of hard work that is shared by all those that work here. I am honored and like to excel with high demands. I learned to trust my skills and to take my time. The hardest part of the job were some of the employees not taking me seriously as a woman, but I proved to all of them that I can hold my own. I love every part of my job and I love that there is always some knew ingredient we are using, I continue to learn.

Continental was a wonderful place to work until the merger
Loved my job with Continental, great culture...that all changed with the merger. The hardest part of the job was being on reserve and unable to trade days off or know your schedule.

One of the worst companies to work for
A laundry list of problems: terrible management, terrible work environment, we have to do a 2-3 person job, I'm required to do 3 department jobs PLUS work the plant and drive all for one sad pay rate, no room for advancement unless you kiss butt, no sick pay, can't take any personal days, management sits around and plays on their phones, talk, and drive around on golf carts all day. All Continental cares about is profit, they definitely don't care about the people. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company

Beautiful headquarters but a cut throat company that watches its P & Q's in a negative sense as they are quick to let go of preforming employees to a fault.

Nice place to work with some cons

Continental was a nice place to work, you could make a career in the company, meet and work with people from around the world, good pay, good benefits. Good coworkers in general.
There were excellent bosses and terrible bosses.
Some members of the management at some plants in other locations were abusive, untochable, doing what they wanted with employees, causing a stressing environment sometimes. Very dissapointed about compliance policies because they never stopped those people eventhough they were aware of those situations.

O que aprendi
Quando entrei na empresa eu não sabia muito bem como usar a máquina, tinha receio de não conseguir executar a função como devia de ser, mas a empresa deu me todo o apoio e incentivo, disponibilizou se a todos os níveis para me ajudar e fazer me crescer dentro da mesma.
