Overall Reviews at Comcast

Great company
Comcast best company I ever worked for the career advancement is amazing great benefits and stock options plus vouchers for service at home and 4 free universal studios tickets a year. I went from residential Xfinity to Comcast Business and both experiences were excellent. Salary plus commission with multipliers expenses paid.

Great pay and benefits
A very well rounded company and fun environment that will compensate you fairly when your willing to put the work in. However it’s tough to maintain a work/life balance at times if your are driven enough to succeed.

Engaging and rewarding work environment
Lots of opportunity at the Senior Management level to have your voice heard and to make an impact. Compensation and benefits are generous, and the work life balance for the leader I work for is encouraged.

Nice environment to work
Overall Comcast has opportunities to reach your career goals but it can be very hard to transition from one position to the other. Pigeon-holing is a common attribute.

Inclusive, Diverse Environment, Great Training, Great Support, Great Benefits
Call Center Environment, Daily Motivational Meetings, Back to Back calls, Opportunities to trouble shoot, problem solve. Learned a lot of technical innovations, Computer Coding, Sales, Customer Relations. Management is wonderful. Workplace Culture is very pleasant. The hardest part of the job is de-escalating calls and satisfying customer needs. The people I work with are the most enjoyable part of the job.
ProsPeople, Environment, Benefits
ConsDistance to drive, Stressful situations, Computer Issues

Comcast
It's hard to really judge this company as I have had good and bad experiences. I worked for them for six years and had pay increases and bonuses. I do no agree with their upper management hiring strategies, or the replacement of long term employees with contractors.

Culturally diverse and encouraging environment
Any and all consideration to the associate is given to ensure the best output of service to the customer and giving back to the company. The wealth of information given access to for the customer is astounding.

It's a job
The supervisors are pretty good, but a few have their favorites that can do no wrong. Comcast would change their channels that are popular with senior citizens and CSR would have to explain it to irate customers. The benefits are good. Customer service is in the Philippines and can only read off of scripts, which is frustrating for USA employees.

ConsVery progressive

Productive and fun place like billiards, something like that.
It was fun, until you were left in the dark. It is a mix of management and personal issue that true working performers were neglected. Hoping my next company will have true and honest management skills, and praying hard they are not eaten by their ego.
