Encourage your career.
Your an independent contractor and work at your own pace. There is plenty of opportunity to obtain training. The technology is the reason I came to Coldwell Banker.

It's ok
The agents are great but managers are awful the Salary is way under paid for the amount of work they give you. Managers don't trust administratives and don't respect them either it's like working in a factory inside of an office the only thing that makes it workable are the agents

Meh
It was easy work if the realtors were nice. The pay was ok to start but its difficult to move up in pay or positions. They show favoritism and cater to people who make a big deal out of everything.
ProsEasy, christmas gifts, great realtors
ConsTerrible realtors, pay

Good company to work for
Good company & branch. But Team leader terribly unorganized, blamed admin for everything the agents did wrong. Didnt communicate properly with agents & admin, so lots of confusion& mistakes.

Realtor
I attended office meetings, classes, met with clients, made copies, did research, prospecting clients for buying and selling, scheduled showings, negotiated contracts and did up desk duty.
Since I was a Realtor, I was not in the office very much. I did most of the computer work at home. I was in my car numerous hours a day doing showings, previewing listings and new builders, attending inspections, meeting with sellers preparing to sell their house and going to closing.
Learned negotiation skills, computer skills, & communication skills.
I worked very long hours the first 12 years in the business and loved every minute of it.
The last 10 years, which included the recession was not as enjoyable. The industry changed and was not as much fun anymore. I did love the satisfaction of finding young people their first home and sharing in their excitement.
I originally started with Ebby Halliday Realtors and was recruited to Keller Williams and then recruited to Coldwell Banker.
ProsSatisfaction of helping to sell their home or buyers finding new home.
ConsConsumes your time, hard to plan family time.

Professional yet friendly environment to work in
A typical day starts by updating our upcoming closings. Delays can affect cash flow therefore it is important to update these and be as accurate as possible. Commission processing when closings occur. Weekly/month financial reporting through comparison charts and date from Cognos reports.

Sales agents are great.
This company was fun to work for some days but lacked structure. They also lacked communication between the upper management and office staff in some offices.
Proseasy work.

Very Positive Environment
The realtors at Coldwell are very happy and successful. Coldwell does a lot of training to help them succeed. The brokers are always available.
The realtors are helpful to each other. They all want each other to succeed. It is a very positive environment to work.
