On a hot day, there were a lot of customers that would come and it was very demanding. The managers were offensive and would cause stress among the workers.

Wonderful brand and was able to work with highly intelligent people.
Exemplerary brand and most individuals are always intent in doing the right thing and helping franchiseees make profit and assist on operational and markting initiatives. Small exception with one high level executive that hinders certsin things.

It’s a great place to work at
I like coldstone but there are some things I’d change if I was the owner. Coldstone did help me with my customer service skills and cashiering experience.

fun place to work
Right when you show up you have to be ready to serve customers. If no customers, you wash dish's and re-stock the topping, make waffle cones or bowls, clean and wait to serve customers.
Prostips, cold enviornment during summer
Consno real hours

Such a great place to be at.
When I go to work there it is always a fun places to be at. Everyone gets along and we work as a team throughout the whole day!!!! The management is amazing and is super efficient at getting any job done. All my co-workers are hard working and love to work as a team. The hardest part of my job is not over working yourself because you just want to do everything! the most enjoyable part is decorating cakes and working with customers,
Prosgood break times, great management, great enviorment

Fun work place
It’s always nice interacting with customers and engaging with friendly faces, including my coworkers. I do enjoy working at Cold Stone especially because of how laid back it is, but the way my boss runs the business isn’t as great as it could be and it affects how things operate in the location i work.

Job was fun, but the employees were catty
The job itself was fun when there were large influxes of customers, but behind the counter there was a lot of employee rivalry. This made for a very tense and awkward work environment.

It was fun but super stressful
This is my first job so it is kind of stressful and overwhelming for me. You have to work fast because it is super busy on weekends and maybe some day of weekdays. You will have a long line in no times because everyone loves ice cream. We have to help the customers start to finish. Also, we also have to do everything; cashier, refilling ice cream, making ice cream, cleaning, and washing dishes. It was overwhelming because when I first started my training, I guess I don’t have enough training since my manager has some family problems to deal with. But overalls, it’s super fun.
ProsFree ice cream to take home, Free sample tasting
ConsDid not give enough hrs

Draining and Easily Tiring
I worked at Cold Stone Creamery for about 1 month before I got tired of it very easily. Management was very disrespectful and the owner had no regard for the employees' personal life. For the work I did, it was very draining and exhausting, especially with the pay. It is not worth it at all. There are no benefits other than tips but it is barely a benefit because the owner can decide whether to take them away or not. There is no water or food provided regardless of how long the shift is. I felt physically sick and exhausted to be there every day and every night. I can easily say that this job was the worst first experience I've ever had with anything. I do not recommend working for a franchise, you will be rushed and scolded for every little thing you do, unless you are familiar with the owner.
ProsTips
ConsShort breaks, no personal benefits, forced breaks with no pay, no free anything.
