Duties

The clinician is responsible for providing medical care to patients in the acute and chronic illness setting. This includes a variety of services including: diagnostics, treatment planning, patient education, case management, documentation, follow-up and more. The clinician’s primary responsibility will be to provide quality clinical care through consultation with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers and other health care providers as needed.

Detailed job duties include:

  • Provide direct patient care in a clinical setting.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex medical conditions, including but not limited to: acute/ chronic illness, trauma or other health problems.
  • Provide a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan through consultation with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and social workers.
  • Review all documentation related to services provided by providers.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in medicine or related field
  • 2 years of experience and/or equivalent combination of education and training may be considered for this position
  • Current license to practice medicine in the state where work was performed
  • Experience working with children (ages 6 months through 12 years)
  • Must have current CPR certification
