Great place to work. Lots of synergy!
Benefits were great and as an immigrant it was good to know the employer cared for their workers. The orientation was thorough. In department training was developed yo assure success of not onl thg staff but also new frontline supervisors and managers!

Great place to work
I enjoyed working at CCF. Management was decent and helpful. There was a lot of training and trainers were very accessible. Fellow employees were nice and easy to work with.

low pay, understaffed
Good learning experience, poor pay, high stress, low staffed. Dr's treat you like subhuman beings. Great place to get experience but good place to move on from after

Stay focused
Sadly, if you dont come into the clinic and get right to where you want to be within the hospital you better get ready to play highschool games. Suck up and swallow your pride as an adult in order to advance.

Very good, but very large
Countless opportunities and endless work to be done, but large footprint and doctor-centric focus can slow down some cultural/process improvements and can limit the success of large efforts

Bullying
At Cole Eye institute in Akron there is constant bullying from management. When you complain to HR about the management there or why this particular office has a completely different set of rules than all the other cole eye institute's you get a corrective action or you are picked on for several weeks. You will be miserable if you work here.

Excellent place to explore multiple areas of nursing
Cleveland Clinic is an excellent place for new nurses to get their start. There are multiple avenues to explore and their benefits are the best in the area. Bedside nursing in a variety of specialties, nursing education, leadership, research, quality, accreditation- they have it all. They offer amazing tuition reimbursement options that are super helpful for those that don't have the resources.

Open to employee input
The hospital appears to be open to recommendations from fellow employees regarding making workflow improvements or at least attempting to try things on an experimental basis to see if it makes a difference in workflow, length of stay etc.
Therefore when things like that occur and they do work out this adds to employee morale

Administrative
This position was an out-patient and emergency room. I have learned many things how to work under pressure. The hardest part is when I had patient that pass away their. We were like family. I worked by myself at night.
ProsStaff always helpful
ConsWorking by myself
