Productive and unequal
The work place is productive, but the pay scale is unequal and unfair. Regular employees make more than all leads, and there is no overtime what so ever.

Over all chep is a fair company that as high standards on there production
Chep is a high standards when it comes to there production they carry big contact with different company as well as different provie contacter but over all chep is a pretty good company that is big on safety

Enjoyed the experienced management is pro active in meeting the needs of employees
Not a bad place to work.management is stable and capable.the culture is what you would like to see in all work atmosperes.down side would be working weekends and holidays

Great place to work. Supervisors are awesome. If you come in and work hard you will be rewarded. I just wish they would hire from within more. Overall a great place to work

Horrible IT Dept. Conditions
CHEP uses a firm out of India to hire its IT Staff but that firm hires another firm to find it's staff. Problem is the firm Chep hired is literally 99.9% all Indian and they all stick together, totally bias, and will rotate you out within 3 months unless you are part of their Ping Pong click. I have confirmed this with 4 others who worked there and all contacted me regarding this as a heads up. Problem is I don't play Ping Pong. The people at CHEP who are with CHEP were wonderful. The IT Desk on 3rd floor management is horrible. I had to work closely with my co-worker whom did all the training, and showed me everything. The manager did nothing regarding training, policies and procedures, meetings, and then has the audacity to complain about performance after telling me to pick up the prior terminated employee's tickets that had outstanding SLA times from 3 weeks out. Then lied to upper management about my leaving on personal reasons which was an outright lie, then changed it to performance to cover himself.
Other than this traffic is horrible getting out at 5pm.

Fast paced. Great environment with a lot of opportunity. Has learned plenty while give the ability to grow professionally.

Started out great, but had a massive culture change
They would spend money on equipment that would sit idle, collecting dust. To compensate, financially, they laid people off.
You never knew if you were going to get laid off tomorrow...

good company to work with good team and people appreciate your initiatives. however a lot of changes in the senior management is little disturbing, however hoping it is a change process will be soon over and things will be back to normal.
