It's a fun place to work for
As a current employee of Catholic Charities they do grant several opportunities for you to grow in the company. I enjoy every aspect of the company and would recommend the company to work for.

Overall a great company
I love this company. I enjoy being a part of a purpose and this company has purpose. Supervisors are amazing and so is the admin team. All the staff I have interacted with are super helpful and are willing to teach you. A little competitiveness because you earn bonuses! The environment is laid back and has flexible hours. The hardest part of the job is the job itself and that is par for the course in the mental health field.
ProsSupervision, CEU's, team oriented
Conshmmm...I don't know.

Productive
Good place to work but have to stick by yourself..a lot of gossip. It would be better if people treated you like they wish to be treated..we all make mistakes. But CCDS has been helpful during some hard times..others have been harsh..but you just have to brush it off..if you want to survive! So some days can be harder than others..but it is like this everywhere, I guess..
CCDS is a very generous company! They have great benefits and time off! Even though we don't get much off!! This is because we are short staffed and little pay..
But to compensate, it is very rewarding to help those who are disabled! Once you meet the clients, they just overtake your heart! ❤

Productive with opportunity for growth and development.
Catholic Charities offered the opportunity for development of programs and staff management. Other agencies and organizations that were associated with this company cooperated in fund raising ventures. In my experience as staff manager, I felt environment could be improved, and work hours staggered to meet community needs. As a charity organization, Catholic Charities produced widespread development of programs, and gained insight into many diverse nationalities. The organization was instrumental in following up of underprivileged families and helped to fulfill their needs.
ProsFree lunches were periodically provided, though not consistently.
ConsShort breaks were available for staff, and healthcare was adequate, depending on their budget.

Non Profit Organization with a Great Mission
If you wish to help people, this is the place to be. The mission is clear because there is no shortage of need even in a good economy.
Like all non-profits, the budget is small and what your are expected to accomplish is High.
ProsYour jobs helps many people in need.
ConsSmall budget with High expectations.

great family values
I am not comfortable talking about my current employer. There is good and bad in every job. I am feeling like I need a change and that this might not be the best fit for me.

Enjoyed helping others to change and improve lifestyles for them and their families.
I was thankful for the opportunity from the Catholic Charities team and learned many things while employed there. The working conditions changed while I was employed there.

It was the WORSE experience I ever had. Management was horrible!!!!!
The worse Clinicians I’ve ever worked with! Broke all the HIPPA rules. At times, you didn’t know client from staff. Staff would talk about client’s situations, in front of other staff. Confidentiality and anonymity was not something they practiced.

Very good and great company, but some managers will tarnished the image because of their bad management of staff.
Very good place to work if you have a good supervisor or program manager !!!
Everyone has his own experience, but in final, Catholic Charities is a BIGGER COMPANY which has my admiration. I did not have opportunity to work with the great manager... but I Thanks C.C for everything 🙏🙏
