Duties

The carpenter and masonry specialist is responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance and replacement of woodwork in a variety of building types. This position requires strong attention to detail with excellent customer service skills as well as proficiency with hand tools and other materials used in construction work. Must be willing/able to learn new techniques using various types of equipment.

Detailed job duties include:

  • Perform all carpentry and masonry work in accordance with company standards.
  • Provide quality workmanship on projects, including installing woodwork, installing doors, building walls, painting interior windows and setting up ceiling fans.
  • Adhere to safety rules and regulations when performing job duties.

Qualification

  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability and willingness for continuous learning, both on-site and offsite
  • Strong communication skills with the ability of speaking clearly at client meetings
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential
  • Experience working within an architectural or woodworking industry preferred
  • Must have experience using hand tools
