Fantastic Place to work
Management is extremely helpful and understanding. I have never felt like I couldn't go to my manager or director. No micro managing which I love!
Compensation and benefits are great.

I believe Cardinal Health is an excellent lace to work.
The company offered many benefits such as stressing work/life balance, and the the ability to work remotely. The work was challenging and rewarding. We had a great team that worked together well and accomplished and exceeded our goals.

Ambiente familiar.
Excelente lugar de trabajo, pero la paga versus el costo de vida no concuerdan.

Low pay and you only get ahead if you are one of the management's favorites
Horrible training management acts like you're a so much if you just ask about your job or questions about it and and I'll never get back with you on responses to your queries. Here's an example I needed a new card to get into the building and for 2 and a 1/2 weeks I ask every assistant manager there. I had to wait for the general manager to get back so I could get the card. nobody wanted to do it. Blew me off.
ProsIts a job not a career
ConsForced overtime. Toxic environment

Company
This company wAs rated high on the stock market because of its products. However, productivity was their main goal. There were lots of mistakes made by employees due to work overload. There are very long (10-14 hr) days with minimal breaks. The manager at the time John Donahue would sneak around the building to catch employees.

Great place overall.
I enjoyed a few different roles at cardinal health. Advancement and annual raises. Appreciation from managers and other employees. They trained you and helped you to advance in your role, whatever it was. Compensation and company perks as well.

Team oriented enivoronment with respect for all individuals
Cardinal Health is an excellent organization where employees are respected and provided with positive feedback on a consistent basis. As a contract employee, I was welcomed and immediately felt as though I was a member of the Cardinal family.

Good place to work
Currently I work for our finance function in the field supporting our sales team. Unfortunately, finance has been essentially outsourced beginning in February 2020. There will be few opportunities within the finance function going forward.

Can be place to learn a lot with some good mentors. It is high stress metric driven long hours
Can be a place to learn lot of skills and can have high customer centered culture that makes you feel like you are doing work that is very important. There are some very good people in organization with lot of experience and dedication It Is a high stress environment with long hours which is not optional, If hourly and like OT good place to be at but gets old. This leads to high turn over in entry level positions. Management goal is 80% to 90% networking to get a head rest of team 90% to 110% working with limited growth potential. High management turn over.. For company lean and metrics is big deal and goal that is spotty in execution. Depending on who you are or position treated like number not person with life out side of work.
Prosstable work with overtime can be team orientated important life saving service provider
Conshigh mandatory over time high turn over hourly employees and management

Great vacation/sick time, frequent management and company changes have caused a toxic job culture
Cardinal Health is a great place to work, with plenty of job security and room for advancement. They give a lot of vacation/sick time to their employees, and encourage you to use it. They constantly ask for feedback and have open eyes and ears to the problems people elevate.
Unfortunately, due to the many changes the building has gone through, the employee morale/job culture was at an all time low, with many people dissatisfied with the constant need for schedule changes, mandatory overtime, and cut backs on staff.
