Overall Reviews at Canada's Wonderland
3.0
Did not have an opportunity to work there long enough to get the full experience.
A typical day at work consisted of checking in with security and then heading over to my designated station to clock in. I was given a break quite often as it was enforced. Shifts run late, but hours are good. However for the work involved the pay was just not enough.

Good and friendly work environment
The work atmosphere here is very casual and up beat. Supervisors and leads are always open to suggestions and help with other co-workers. The department works closely with other departments, and values teamwork and willingness to try new methods for achieving monthly goals. The coworkers are around the same age, early to late twenties, and the work environment is very relaxed and fun.

Lots of work and great people
Very great opportunities for a first time job. Learnt alone from great service to fast pace pressure. Extremely long hours and day shift that can be overwhelming but nontheless great workplace.

Great Place to Work During Summer
It was a great place to work at over the summer break. I was able to work many hours so the pay was nice. A typical day at work for me would be to keep track of food inventory, prep the meals before the park opened, and prepare more food according to the demand of customers. During my employment, I had free admission into the park, made friends, and got discounts on food.
ProsFree admission, good work culture, make friends

Great experience
Not the longest of work hours, mandatory 30 minute breaks, low pay, but great experience and great people. Really good position to be exposed to security work.

fun workplace
Enjoyed working in the summer during no school. I learned how to use a cashier, give the right amount of change back if they give cash and how to talk to others with a polite manner.

Productive and fun workplace
A typical day at work consisted of communicating effectively towards a customers needs. This consisted of entering the orders correctly onto a cash register and preparing the food well to meet those needs. I learned to sell products more effectively and improve my communication skills. I also learned to use a cash register effectively and use the proper equipment, cleaning, and sanitation practices for the production of making food. The most enjoyable part of the job was to communicate with people as well as work alongside with co-workers. This made the atmosphere more enjoyable and fun to work around in.

Fast pace and fun work environment
Cedar Fair gives employees a chance to grow in their role. There is lots of room for learning and improvement. The work environment is fast place but at the same time fun.

The work environment is really nice. Almost all the employees are teens and the supervisors are young so the environment is really friendly.
Well, the day starts with us checking Rides and making sure they are clean and safe for guests to ride. the management and supervisors are always there to help us with anything. we are given a lot of benefits as employees. Overall the work environment is really friendly and fun.

Good for first time workers
Not too bad, can get extremely busy sometimes. Highly recommend for those starting to work. Do not expect them to write the recommendation letter though.
