Take advantage of the experience but don’t get too comfortable.
It’s not a company to get invested in if you don’t have a degree or if you’re not interested in non-profits. The younger staff come and go all the time, it’s a revolving door and the upper administration receive most of the perks and recognition for the youth development professionals working hard at hand.

A happy,fun place to work
Excitement seeing the joy in the children daily, knowing how important the education the children are getting will help them in the future. Teachers are so dedicated.

Unorganized
Management lacks communication which trickles down to employees. Nobody knows how to answer policy questions, you get the run around on trivial questions such as getting access to paystubs.

Very good place to work if you enjoy having fun with children and being a positive role model.
I have enjoyed working with this company over the last 9 years. I have been fortunate to have the experience of impacting the lives of the youth within our community. I can honestly say this was my favorite job with the combination of good staff, and great work atmosphere, and wonderful kids.

Great place to work
I love working at Boys and Girls Club. They make you feel important and always take the time to make each employee feel important. I feel a strong sense of purpose and that I made a difference in the children's lives everyday I go to work.

Best place i have worked at
If you are looking for something part time.. this is the place for you. You will be involved in the community and you will learn so much from the kids. It truly is a life changing experience. I had to relocate but i miss it all the time.
