Wonderful Management and Team!
Overall bonefish was an amazing company to work for! They always supported me learning more and moving up. I was offered every advancement I wanted and encouraged to go to the next level. Management at both stores were amazing and very knowledgeable. Hours were flexible. Hours could be long but they were so fun and light that it was worth it! Love, love, loved growing in this company! Loved everyone I met. It really was an amazing job.
ProsPeople, training, promotions, hours, support
ConsChef coats always got disgusting, wearing white in food service is so silly.

Loved It
I worked at Bonefish for a little over a year and I loved it. I enjoyed the people that worked with me, the management was great, and the money was fantastic. The customers were amazing too. I loved seeing the same people returning because then you know you're doing something right.

Great coworkers, good energy, good structure
I have worked here for 4 years and I’ve seen a lot of ups and downs during that time. We have changed management a lot, but at the end of the day, we always had a set criteria to meet and with that, you could not argue with. Having the structure of a set collection of rules, guidelines, expectations made it possible to be heard as a staff member.
ProsWork hard, get rewarded

Slowly changing culture
Bonefish was a company that seemed to be expanding and growing for the better, but now it was taken a sudden drop for the worse.

Less drains, gossip, more quality for the customer. My store manager taught me to never apologize unless there is a serious issue. We are all doing our best and the customer needs to respect this

What advice would you give the CEO of Bonefish Grill about how to improve it?
Asked Sep 22, 2016
Keep your culture, policies, standards very Hight with perfect integrity. -Make sure the Area Directors are visiting their stores and keep it to the standards and reported to you every 6 months" The restaurant's cleanness, an organization, ALL restaurant like new and safety code" -As CEO ensure the job from Area Director is being done by checking and validating each restaurant and NOT leaving the total decisions for Manager Partner who they work like for themselves and taking all the money they can get. -Making sure the Area Director is making great decisions, not the partner managers! like for example firing anyone that they feel like. Manager Partners should document any managers for poor performance and not following up policy. Also, the A.D should be involved in coaching and performance. so, the regular managers abide the bone fishway!!! your team is the “core" the bone of the restaurant. -Every year make sure all managers are taking a survivor quiz to Minimized the managers turnover. -Manager Partner should Fix and repair any issue that goes into the restaurant and not ignores those issue because is going to hurt their bonus program. -Implement a small bonus program for all managers whom most of the time do the manager partner dirty work. -Use the Hot scheduled link to see the communication that is going on each restaurant. -Put a program "BONUS" package that will benefit everybody, managers and make sure managers have some type of program to reward regular team members. Like gift card to come at eat for free with their family or any other restaurant.

What is the server uniform like?
Asked Oct 23, 2016
At the newest location servers have grey t-shirts, choice of fitted or nonfitted, and bib aprons. The aprons are hideous, and literally fall off while we work. (Because the strap that goes around the back of the neck comes undone continuesly.)
