Days at work what it's like
Typical day at work would be depending on how much orders you have in if you don't have a lot of kind of slow little bit of standing around lot of standing around actually I'm always moving always picking up stuff always cutting open plastic always using big machines. Management what's good depending on what crew and what shift you were on

Good clean work environment has stability
It was a great job I really enjoyed it. I like ke keeping busy and it made the time go by faster. I had great health insurance and 401k. It could get a little hectic. But if I got behind someone always helped.

productive and fun and work with a lot of friends and I learn new stuff every day
I learned everyday on a new product,and get involved with other co-workers.Trying to improve my job and getting the machines running.Making sure co-workers working in a safe place. I also get to meet new people and make friends.

learning, training others and operation of printing presses
The whole experience at Berry Plastics was exciting. Things changed constantly: job changes, inks, people. Management adhered to the open door policies and co-workers were never to busy to lend a helping hand whether it was housekeeping or how to operate a press more efficiently. The hardest part of the job was job changes from one size container to another. The most enjoyable part of the job was succeeding in setting up the job-the sense of accomplishment.

Best job ive ever had
Berry was the best job I've ever had. The group leaders were great, tech's and operators.
The pay was excellent for the work. It's a bit fast paced but you get used to it fairly quick.
Advancement was always there for those truly interested.
ProsExcellent pay, Overtime on saturday double time on sunday, Production bonus twice a year, Management was great.
Cons8 hour crew worked 21 days in a row.

Great pay
Great company to work for, management is good and sometimes the heat is bad. Building a quality product. Culture there is pretty awesome. Learned a lot about plastic products.

Great Place to Work
This was one of my favorite contracts to work on. The work was challenging but the people were great to work with. I hope that I can have more work like this in the future.

Great place to work
I called Berry home away from home, I enjoyed the working with the management team as well as the team members. The plant manager has a great vision for the plant and making great strides towards that goal.

Nice people to work with.
They had morning meetings for safety and job assignments. I would work a different machine or area of production daily. Management was very nice and everyone there worked as a team.

mandatory overtime but you get penailized if you come clock in 1 minute late.
low pay, not very family orientated, warehouse is very! cold in the winter, little or no opportunity for advancement.
