Not a good place to work
I would not suggest this company and the medical devices and reprocessing department there to even my enemies. There is no work culture, ethics and safety. Supervisor or team lead are nut cases and lazy to the core, I was never given PPE to work with, had a needle poke then suffered three months. Please if you have a family don't go to that department in Bayshore

Bayshore solution is a good place to work
Being employed with Bayshore and working with individual clients has given me the greatest opportunity to experience nursing on a whole different I get to work with clients with different health conditions which allows me to build on my knowledge on a continuous basis. I work with people of all ages and als, do respite and palliative care. My job with Bayshore allow me the chance to get to know my clients well and gain understanding into how they feel about themselves and their condition and their family to. Providing clients with empathetic care and respecting their opinion is my ultimate goal as a nurse and through Bayshore, I am able to fulfill that goal on a daily basis as I interact with my clients and families. Although my schedule flatuates sometimes and I loose hours of wor, I am still satisfied with the fact that I can always make a difference in someone’s life even if it means having one client for while before the lost hours are replace. I have a conviction that, nursing should never be about only money but the passion to care for the venerable, the desire to help restore back health and peace of clients and their families, and the love and compassion you to the sick even when they don’t appreciate it. My heart is always gladden when I see the smile of thank you on my clients face.

Prolonged hours with no supports
Joined Bayshore at the beginning of the pandemic. I was hired as manager of clinical practice, during my time at BayShore which was short. I did not receive adequate training and was expected to run the office and supervise staff without ever being properly trained. At the end of my probation I was terminated.
The amount of paper work and staff training was tremendous if you were not properly trained or prepared. When I begged for extra training it wasn’t met and was delayed several times causing further fractions to my performance.
I would not recommend this agency for employment as they are quick to hire, but slow to train, and extremely efficient in terminating employment.
That kind of stress I could well do without.
ProsPaid well with bonuses and a car allowance
ConsLong hours and poor training poor work life balance

Enjoyble workplace with caring management and friendly co-workers
Typical day at work is giving uninterrupted observational care to residents for their safety. Learned how to interact with physically and/or mentally sick people and keep them comfortably while their stay in hospital beds. I had an opportunity to work with hospital and company staff as well. The hardest part of the job is to interact with acute confused and mentally sick patients continuously through out the shift. The most enjoyable part of the job is giving a companionship to patients, which makes them happy and comfortable.

Great company to work for
A typical day was usually fairly busy . I always knew what was on the board and coming up. The company is very supportive, providing education and assistance when needed. There was some issue with casual staff picking up hours when they wanted so part timers would have to share their hours to accommodate. Overall, a great company to work for

Fast Paced, Educational Experience
I worked in a small office, where the 2 members of office staff had to take on the role of many different positions and departments.
I learned a lot about the medical field, as well as office and email etiquette.
The hardest part of this job was the constant restructuring, and no job security.
