WC and PI clinic
Heavy marketing daily for patient retention. I love working with patients from this area. Although with low income patients it is difficult to run a cash only practice. In return that adds stress to the office staff.

Good company
Good company, could pay a little higher. Some new hires come in making what seasoned employees do. Management is kind, stressful job. Holidays off is a plus. With covid they did give bonuses so that was unexpected

Patient Registration Representative | Detroit, MI | May 7, 2015
Very productive, fast pace, interviewing, unsure of handling the work load.
I had direct contact with the CEO. He guided me and supported me in my job. I worked by myself until the work became unbearable, I would come to by 8:00 am and leave by 10:00 pm or later. I became Supervisor and was able to hire 3 staff. The hardest part of my job was seeing consumer treated unfairly. I enjoyed seeing consumers with a smile on their faces.
ProsHad a good support team.
ConsTh company doors closed.

FIVE YEARS FOR NOTHING
I currently have been employed with Aurora St.Lukes Medical Center for five years. When I was first hired through this company, they highly encouraged career growth and building good relationships with the management staff. I was told that an employee is locked into a position for 6 months, and after the six months is up then you can transfer as long as an employee is not in dissiplinary action and is not up there in occurences. ALL THESE THINGS WAS A LIE. When your in a service positon(housekeeping) such as myself(housekeeping), the supervisors will find a way to lock you in so that you cant transfer out. My next step is to quit this company because im not advancing. Im crossed trained in phlebotomy TWICE, EKG certified, patient care tech certified, and have my CNA, and still cant get out or advance to a higher level. The killing part about all of it, is that I WILL HAVE MY BACHLERS degree next year in business allied healthcare. I refuse to work another year here, but I AM GREATFUL for some of the staff.
Prostuition remibursment, some of the staff
Conspoor management, poor pay, poor food, poor raises, no respect for HIPPA RULES(supervisors), poor communication

What is the most stressful part about working at Aurora Health Care?
Asked Sep 20, 2016
Dealing with women in their 50s who act like petty 18 year olds. Management and higher-ups that turn a blind eye to you if you want to broaden your horizons and do different things.
Answered Oct 19, 2020
Working with immature personalities is one of the reasons why and how it can get stressful. People tend to come in with a "only me, myself, and i" attitude. Working in a hospital setting requires teamwork, but you wont get that here, unless their butts get told by the Manager/Supervisor to do so. Lazy people, childish games and behaviors all around, and the amount of work is just ridiculous - it's like Aurora doesn't even care about how hard the employees are working, but only about the money they're raking in.
