Duties

The associate dentist is responsible for providing dental care to patients in a professional and courteous manner. This position requires the ability, willingness and desire of all dentists to work independently as well as with others who are not part-time or full time. Dental experience preferred but not required; must be comfortable working on an office setting while maintaining confidentiality regarding patient information. Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail. Ability to multitask. Excellent customer service skills. Able to work in a team environment.

Detailed job duties include:

  • Provide dental care to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide comprehensive oral health services including: examinations, treatment planning, patient education, referrals, follow-up visits.

Qualification

  • Must be licensed in the state of New York
  • Adult Dentrix license required, or eligible for licensure as an associate dental practitioner with one year experience preferred
  • Dentists must have excellent oral health and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, dental assistants, etc.
