Overview

We are a growing, family-owned security company that provides the highest level of protection for our clients. Our mission is to provide an environment where employees feel safe in their work while maintaining confidentiality, as well providing excellent customer service. As armed guards, we have been serving the community since 1998. The armed guard will be responsible for protecting all personnel from theft or loss by patrolling assigned areas on foot, walking, standing and climbing stairs. This position requires regular attendance at meetings with supervisory staff (either during normal business hours).

Duties

The armed guard is responsible for protecting the lives of our clients and employees by providing security, protection and safety. This includes assisting in patrolling areas to protect against thefts or other criminal acts; monitoring traffic flow through buildings and public spaces; maintaining orderly conditions at all times while performing duties as assigned. In addition, this position will be required on occasion to assist with any emergency situations that may arise during normal business hours (ie: fire, flood, etc). Must have valid drivers license/car insurance coverage including but not limited only to auto insurance policy(s) issued by state law enforcement agencies.

Detailed job duties include:

  • Assigning and maintaining security equipment to assigned areas.
  • Providing assistance in the protection of property, personnel or property from theft.
  • Maintaining safety at all times by following established procedures for safe operation of vehicles; reporting any unsafe conditions immediately on patrol vehicles (State Police Department) as well as other law enforcement agencies (including fire departments).
  • Responding to emergency situations such that they may include but are not limited only to: shooting, assault and vandalism.

Qualification

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and snow
  • Ability or willingness to assignment/relocation as needed
