Job Security
And that’s about it. They will find any and every way to “keep” where you are. Worked there for 2 years, held 3 positions and no raise or promotion ever. The supervisor team is flamboyant and unprofessional. They terminate employees like it’s a game.
ProsPlenty of OT
ConsLittle to no areas of advancement

Soul crushing
As a former employee of years, I can tell you Apria doesn't care about it's employees. Two drivers (that we were told of) died from exposure to covid and no one was told for literally two months. They fired long time employees over a group call,I'm talking people who dedicated half of their lives to Apria 26+years for one and 15+ for the others, just threw them out like trash.they will train you for one job and then change your job six or seven times then pile work on you that you were never trained for. The management at the branches is laughable, they will go behind and change things to work orders never call their patients/customers back or at all sometimes. You will be talked to by customers and patients like you are a pile of excrement all day while working the phones, then get told by your higher-ups that you're not good enough. You will get cents for "raises". The insurance is HORRIBLE they offer nothing you can actually afford to use for you or your family. I could count on one hand the amount of people who actually cared in that company. Good luck being an employee or customer!

Employee relations with management could be better
I left Apria Healthcare because of management. There was no unity between the management team. After procuring a new allocation I was promoted by one branch manager, because I was not the employee the new manager wanted for the job, she sabotaged my Annual Performance Review. I was good enough to get promoted above the personal goal i had for myself but not in everyone's eyes. That broke up the team, morale went down and a two locations no longer exist. Go figure!
ProsTaking care of Patients, travel time, personal relationships
Consmanagement, lack of training and development

stay away
No chance for advancement, raises have been every other year and below cost of living increase, you will be expected to give up your life and do whatever at the drop of a hat. in customer service, your calls are expected to take very little time with no wrap time to complete the call, poor training and entirely too many reps that have no clue what they are doing. your yearly holiday bonus will be a $5 trinket.

Cool Job
Good place to work if you are independent and self motivated- worked from home for 18 months- position can be stressful. People discharge the hospital in need of O2 and sometimes its not possible for same day delivery for various reasons. Must have tough skin

Hard work very little support poor training
1 Hr drive to work the company is micro manage so bad its destroying its self the management only cares about money in there pockets the workers care about the patients the workers all get along but there is no trust in know one because people get lied to this company needs lots of work the hard things was working with management because different department heads were always having power struggles with each other. Talking with the patents and caring for the them was the most enjoyablyng thing with this company.

Overall a Good Company
Overall I enjoyed my job and my time at Apria. My team was downsized and majority of the reporting and WFM team were let go. If not for that, I would still be working there.

Nothing to say
Starting at Apria was great for me! I got a lot of medical education and corporate experience there. If they had never outsourced the majority of the company to India. I would still be there.
